  1. Not going to lie it is a difficult time and I am in a similar boat. Did you try scheduling something with them when you went there? Regardless; I am trying to exhaust as much possible routes as possible. I was originally going to a different private school that charged a lot more, unless I retake courses (anatomy, physiology, Microbiology and G.E.s) to cut down the cost. I got into a rabbit hole about "recency" and how long my sciences last until they expire. I intend to apply to a few of the nursing programs at community colleges and see where that takes me. At the same time; I am leaning towards being a CNA so I can also apply to be LVN. The pay is still good and it is something you can do while being in a RN program. I am 36 and of course I feel the urgency to get this done with. But the entire ADN program will take you 2 years from start regardless. It is a pretty horrible situation to continually wait while you feel hopeless and not having a direction. My problem now is that I feel like there is too many directions for me to choose. Efforts to attaining a Career that is going to sit with you for the next few decades is going to take some time. It is unfortunate but I am also coming to terms with that. I have found so many LVN programs that ranges between 35-45k then I eventually found city programs that offers them between $8K to $11k. So if there is a will there is a way.
  2. Sorry what was that? I have been working and passing out. Did you do your interview yet?
  3. Yes there was some scenario based questions. I think as long as you make your point clear and being sincere you should be fine.
  4. alot of it was strengths and weaknesses. I don't know if there are different prices but it is 75k on the ontario side
  5. No writing before or after. Just the interview, said I was the first to do. Will let me know in march if I am accepted
  6. You should be fine. I am doing this from the ontario side. They were saying they are doing interviews for the next few weeks
  7. Doing my interviews tomorrow for the April Cohort. Loan should be secured, hope you guys make it !
  8. Yeah you should be getting a phone call for interviews, that will happen. Basically everything needed to be submitted by tomorrow (same with Ontario). Goodluck everyone.
  9. Same I have not been to school for almost a decade. I decided to go back. Goodluck, I would say the next hardest part is the loan. I wouldn't worry too much about the interview.
  10. Nicee! Those are some high numbers! I believe you got this.
  11. I am not sure if Visalia is the same as Ontario but I was told there is unlimited amount of tries (to raise your TEAS). I took the HESI a week prior, which I thought wasn't as difficult as TEAS. But see if you can retake for a higher %. My TEAS was only 67%ish truth be told, GPA is in the low 3s. See if you can retake the TEAS, now that you know what to study for. Honestly Math and English saved me, I haven't taken the sciences in a long time.
  12. Congrats to everyone on making it and I hope those that didn't find a way in! Just had a few questions if anyone entered the Ontario campus. Thanks in advance. Hoping you guys finish strong.
  13. Hey There! Which Campus did you Apply to ? I started the majority of things at the Ontario one. I did pass the TEAS and may retake it for a higher grade.
  14. I recently took the HESI A2- after not being in school for about a decade. I purchased mometrix book on amazon which wasn't too bad. I want to say I saw maybe 3-5 of the same questions but otherwise pretty similar structure. I'm planning to do WGU after I get my ADN. They are pretty easy to speak to. Send them your information and they will call and give you all the necessary info. Congrats!
  15. Hey Jay, Wanted to know what you thought of the Ontario campus and instructors. Hope all is well
