San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC) RN Program - Spring 2025
Do you accept on the spot or do you have to go through the loan approval first? I got approved for federal loans that are ready to go and I have to check for Sallie Mae. If I get the call I'm going to make an appointment with financial aid so she can walk me through Sallie Mae and hopefully it works out

Yeah I'm taking a deep breath and trying to think rationally about this. I am going to go for my CNA try to get into the hospital and reapply from there. I guess if LVN is my only option I'll go that route. It's not the end of the world it just feels like that at this crushing moment. I know I'll be okay at the end. Goodluck to everyone

So I got impatient and walked into sjvc to ask if they already had made all their calls for interviews and the front ladies told me yes that they were already scheduled for the next two weeks. I never got a call at all so I'm going to assume that means I didn't get in at all. Unless by some miracle I get called I'm going to take it as a rejection. I honestly feel so shattered. IDK what I am going to do with my life now. This is all I've ever wanted to be and I can't keep retaking classes because most programs take off points or just don't let you apply if there is more than 2 repeats. This was my last shot. Unless I get my CNA license and go LVN then bridge over to RN but I just didn't want to go through nursing school twice because I'm already 30 with 3 kids. I don't have that kind of time. Honestly I'm devastated. What's your guys plan B if you guys don't get in. I'm sure yall will get in though with 4.0s and high gpas.

Ohh okay. I didn't apply to cos either. I was thinking of applying to Fresno city but I honestly don't want to commute so I didn't apply. I applied to pc but that's a shot in the dark and I know I'm not getting in there. My only real hope is sjvc. I'm assuming the cream of the crop will go towards the cheaper routes and maybe I will get in that way as an alternative to their seats LOL
