The University of British Columbia (UBC) BSN 2025 Entry
Thank you! I am interested in NP Program after bsn so UBC seems to be a great choice for me. I applied to BCIT but they didn't accept my courses so im down to one school now. Also I ended up submitting my application yesterday because I was scared of not meeting the deadline but they extended it today..haha.. The longg wait begins now This thread also seems less crowded compared to previous years. I think less people applied this year. Not sure if thats a good thing or bad thing for us loll

I personally think its really bad, and the fact that they have video responses and randomly assigned examiners scoring you also isn't ideal. I know people talked about being discriminated because of video recordings. Plus the time makes it even worse, how are you supposed to type or speak all points in that short period of time? I also think they're not really looking for perfect answers, but more at how we handle the questions and how frustrated we get during the process (just my thoughts). Theyre well aware its not possible for everyone to cover all major points so theyre def looking at other things more than just a "perfect response". Overall Its more of "how fast you speak and type" than "how ethical you are" to me. Goodluck with your supplementals tho! I'll send mine in after new years. Currently waiting for casper to send me my quartile so I know where I stand so far..

That test is an absolute scam and tells nothing about an applicant! Im sure youll be fine. I've heard ubc is thinking of removing casper requirement for future applicants, it shows they're aware of how useless the test is LOL. I myself did so bad im thinking 1Q.. Have you submitted your nursing supplemental application yet?
