  1. Last year I got mine two weeks after the acceptance letter haha. But IDK, maybe someone else from this year can give insight? And yeah it's a long email with how to set things up etc Btw your not missing much in the fb group. it's just one post and ppl commenting introductions underneath it RN.
  2. Oh sorry I got confused. I thought you were starting in Jan 2026 and considering taking part-time courses this coming fall (2025). Since (I think) your official start date is in Jan 2027, you can choose to work/not work until then. Ex: I'm from the 2025 cohort, and deferred to this (2026) cohort so I could take a gap year/not work. I didn't plan to take courses until this fall, but if you wanted to, it sounds like you can work as long as the coursework is online/you are located in Pittsburgh.
  3. So to my knowledge, part-time is just being a part-time grad student. So it depends on what classes are offered. They apparently commonly recommend patho for the part-time fall, and it's offered online or in-person. They take the patho out of the first semester, so you're left with 9.5 credit hours for that Spring semester. Which is still considered full-time for a grad student (9hrs)
  4. I'm pending haha, so just stalking this forum till Are u doing in-person or online? I'm planning to do in-person so curious how many ppl I'll see
  5. Is anybody thinking about doing part-time in fall? I heard they allow us to take some classes early to lessen the course load in certain semesters (I.e. patho)
  6. I ended up choosing College gardens! It's one of their graduate housing buildings in Shadyside, p close to campus. There's a trader joe's, whole foods, some restaurants nearby. Lots of greenery when I visited (trees/grass), and felt safe. Two Bedroom $1,560 - $1,780 Three Bedroom $1,980 - $2,130 Rent includes utilities (except internet) and I really enjoyed that they have gas ranges. Some units are updated, but other ones are old (like in the yt video on their website).
  7. Sorry to dig this up, but was catching up on the thread. They seem to weigh post-bach classes heavily. My GPA was 3.5ish in my undergrad, so I made sure to get an A in OrgChem when I took it for the CRNA school apps. I also threw in some community service to round out the app. And I barely made it into the last round of interviews. You seem like a strong applicant though, very involved on your unit. I was only part of my unit committee, and don't have as many projects as you do.
  8. Oh sorry y'all, I meant that I got an interview invite previously haha, I haven't had my actual interview yet! Also, I don't have enough posts on allnurses to reply in the DMs unfortunately
  9. Thanks for the update ? where're you headed? To everyone else: I also haven't gotten any emails about the part-time position I accepted
  10. Got call for part-time today! Accepted He didn't provide where I was in the line, though I think the best way to track is we keep the thread active to see when ppl get pulled to full time I will say I assume I'm later on the list as he's been calling part-time for a week now? We'll see when they stop calling peeps
  11. Interesting, anybody else get a part-time offer? I believe the post today was the first mention of anybody getting a part-time offer who was a part of this thread. Wonder how long they're planning to take to call all the part-timers
  12. Info session didn't say much about this current admission cycle. Basically talked about admission requirements for the next cycle and current SRNAs talking about their experiences. Interesting through that next year they're going to only have one deadline instead of two though
  13. Yeah it's hard on nights, I've been putting do not disturb on and letting calls go through
  14. Haha accurate username, and I agree ?, let's see what calls go out this evening
  15. I mean, they've been sending out calls every evening since Monday on the continental US, I would just wait until we hear that someone's been offered a part time spot, or if there's an evening that no calls go out LOL, everything's been p predictable so far
  16. I'm pretty sure decisions are this week and they make calls next week
