  1. Not yet. I don't think laces matter. I'm just going to wear all white Air Force ones tomorrow and hope I find something by Tuesday of next week.
  2. Thank you all. I look forward to meeting you and getting into debt together LOL
  3. Congratulations!! Thank you for letting us know. Do you mind sharing your stats?
  4. Those are awesome stats! Thank you. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors.
  5. Congratulations! What were your stats if you don't mind sharing?
  6. Thanks! Good luck to you too. Do you know if we will hear anything if we are not accepted?
  7. Maybe next week? Like it's not that hard to make 30 phone calls LOL
  8. August Cohort - Theory/Lecture is on Wednesdays and Fridays (all day, usually around 7-5 or a comparable time), plus one day of Clinical Rotation per week as well. Clinical day will vary based on what portion of the program you're in and what site you're assigned to. That's directly from an email I received. They told me clinicals wouldn't start until 5 weeks in
  9. No other private lender works with them as far as I could tell. I've tried pretty much everywhere. Only options are Sallie Mae, institutional financing or personal loans but I've read that you can't use personal loans on tuition unfortunately.
  10. I haven't heard anything yet. [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME, PER TOS] mentioned calls would start at the beginning of August so I'm assuming to expect a call on Thursday or Friday.
  11. Yeah you are right about the co-signer thing. I'm trying to find one still. I just think it's crazy they want us to do a hard pull on our credit to get pre-approved for a loan before actually being offered a seat. So if I don't get in, I have to take about a 15 point hit to my credit and have it on there for 2 years, for what?
  12. My credit is 780 and I still need a co-signer for income purposes. SJVC payment plan was crazy. They quoted me $2800/month. But I don't get PELL or other grants cuz I have a Bachelors. I only qualified for about 20,000 in federal loans, so I need to borrow 55,000 total. So the 2,800/month institution financing is based on the first 10 months tuition of 28,000. You have to pay the tuition in full for the first "school year" before they finance the next one. So don't count on the institution financing. Finding scholarships has been difficult as well.
  13. Smh that sucks. I have a high credit score and still need a co-signer for Sallie Mae. I've been looking into options for the past week and haven't found anything that's why I asked on here.
  14. They told me during my interview that they were going to meet on the 26th to talk about applications. Is Sallie Mae the only private lender that works with SJVC? I haven't found any others
  15. I think they said they will start making acceptance calls the first and second week of August. The suspense it killing me tho ? thanks good luck to you too!
