  1. Hello everyone, looking for anyone who has experience going to PMHNP school and working throughout. I've been at my current inpatient psych job for 3 years and I have the opportunity to go to a 0.6 (2 12's per week) and pick up shifts as needed. I think 2 12's per week will be enough to pay bills and survive. My question is, if I should do school part time which takes 3 years or full time which takes 2 years. Part time would be 6 credits per semester and full time would be 9 credits per semester. I would rather get it done in 2 years so I'm not struggling financially as long and 3 years just seems a little more daunting while also working. I want to make sure I can do well in school and not be too stressed out all the time. The other thing to consider is I can obviously work more and make more money if I am not taking as many credits per semester... Anyone have any experience or recommendations?
