  1. Did anyone had trouble registering for the NU101 class? It wouldn't let me register until 10:03 and by then, most of the clinical site including Flushing and Queens Hospital became full. Orzac was the only one that remained and ultimately, the one I enrolled in. (not an ideal clinical site, very far away)
  2. So word of advice that is coming from a friend who is already in the program: she saids that it is best to start reading the textbook as soon as you can. Because once the nursing semester starts, you will be hit with so much information to the point where you feel like you are falling behind. Here is the link to the NU101 textbook: https://shop.lww.com/Lippincott-CoursePoint--Enhanced-for-Taylor-s-Fundamentals-of-Nursing/p/9781975205362
  3. Also got accepted, also am currently taking Microbiology in the Summer. Congrats to all who got in!
  4. From what I can see, you're most likely not going to hear back until July. I also got a friend who took Microbiology during the Summer and didn't hear back for her Fall 2023 acceptance until July.
  5. So I recently finished my interview today. To be honest for me, it felt less like an interview where you have to be giving correct answers to each question and more like a chill group conversation. For our group, we just went from the right most person to the left most person, where the professor would give a unique question to each of us to really get a feel for you as a potential future nurse. We did two rounds of this and at the end of each round, people are free to chime in on their opinion. Towards the end, everyone asked questions to the professor. Overall, the vibes were nice! Also for those with medical experience, you should mention that too during the interview. Now for those that are taking Microbiology during the Summer, the professor said you are on pending status. So I guess you are kind of on a waitlist and once your Microbiology grades post. Only then can you be accepted to the Fall 2024 Nursing program. So it is possible for you to not get the acceptance until July for those taking Microbiology during the Summer. Anyway, good luck for anyone taking the interview in the coming weeks!
  6. So with regards to the interview, since I heard that it is going to be a group interview, for those that already took the interview, does everybody just speak one by one, going to the next person or is it like popcorn style where anyone can speak if he or she wants to?
