Oh man, I hope the NICU still gives a chance for days... Im in the OC, so it's a 2-hour drive on nights but only 1 hour on days for me... so I'm praying for day shift, at least eventually haha. But we gotta do what we gotta do! OOO I hope we can wear whatever. When I worked at CHOC, they let us have free rein on colors and even allowed like disney/ kid friendly t-shirts:) I finished my preboarding today as well, so now I'm just waiting to hear back about the onboarding appointment. Also, the HR person told me there is a virtual meet and greet on Sept. 21st where we can meet each other and the management.

If my application has not been updated since "under review" and I have not received an interview invitation, should I assume Im out for this round?

Does anyone know if Loma Linda has a dress code? Also, do we know what their policy is on jewelry/piercings and tattoos? Has anyone seen their handbook?

Oh wow, hoping we get a good differential!! Def ecstatic to have a job, but I live in OC and pay is way more competitive, BUT a dream job is a dream job, and I'm thrilled!! Are you going to be on night shift too? I heard that is a 4-5$ differential:) Nope, I haven't received the official offer letter from HR yet. But when they called me last Thursday, they said all departments will have to be submitted by the 17th to HR with their final candidates are and then HR takes about a week to send over the offer letters. YAY! Looks like we will be working together! Yours is for night shift as well? Also, were you internal or external? I'm external, so just looking for more info about the unit, etc haha.

Sorry it took me a while to respond. It was a long interview, about 45 min, so be prepared for that! They probably asked me 10+ questions, and all 4 people asked them; they all wrote down comments for each one—questions about times I experienced XYZ, how to respond, why LLUCH, etc.

Hey everyone! Happy to say last week I was offered the NICU new-grad position!! Does anyone know about starting pay/ MSN differential/ nights differentials? Also, I heard rumors about a 3-year commitment.... anyone hear about that?

Has anyone been getting calls for NICU interviews? I saw one person say they did, but wondering if they are moving slowly.

Hi everyone! I have my interview with the NICU on Monday. Does anyone have any tips/ has interviewed already?

I don't have any connections with Memorial Care. But she said I have a wonderful experience being a CNA at a top children's hospital in the area, as a 911 EMT, and additionally as a Nurse Extern in the NICU for a year. My resume is ATS formatted and my references are from pediatrics, NICU and OB faculty/ Instructors! Hope that helps.

Just got a rejection email because I haven't graduated yet. (I graduate in first week of August) Oh well!

Just got a call from the NICU recruiter and had a preliminary interview:) she said that she sent my application to the hiring manager and we should get interview calls by the 1st of July!!
