  2. I got an email! Okay I can make one if people will join!
  3. just got my offer for Beverly Hills!! Did anyone end up making a Facebook group for this cohort?
  4. I'm in the same boat LOL, I haven't heard anything from BH. pretty sure that means I didn't get it but I wish they'd email already?
  5. I received an offer from MDR on Thursday morning!
  6. yea, I think I'm going to email in a bit! I'll keep you posted if I hear back
  7. my interviewer said the same but I just thought maybe he was mistaken! I'm considering emailing the recruiter to clarify bc I have another offer from a community hospital but this is my first choice so I'm trying to stall?
  8. Yes! she said tomorrow at the absolute latest. I'm really hoping we hear before then though.
  9. not yet! I interviewed for 4SCCT and 6SCCT
  10. that's amazing they were so fast!! I hope I hear back today LOL I've been anxious since my interview ended yesterday ?
  11. OMG congrats!! did you get a call or email?! when was your interview?!
  12. Oh! I think it's mixed between the two days! My interviewer said they were interviewing ppl today too
  13. I think the interview questions differ based on unit and interviewer tbh! In the connectivity test they said to have answers ready for the basic behavioral questions (tell me about yourself, why cedars, etc) and then be prepared for clinical based questions. I would just focus on disease processes common to the population you applied for. good luck! they said in the connectivity test that all interviews are today and tomorrow! ?
  14. which unit is that? and it wasn't too bad! there's def things I wish I would have added but hindsight is 20/20 LOL. the anticipation is killing me
  15. me! what unit(s) did u interview for?
  16. hi! Any advice on how best to prep? I'm studying meds and common disorders but not sure if that's a waste?
  17. Hi! How did your interview end up going? Was it super clinical heavy?
  18. Did you include the # on your resume or is there another spot to add it in the application?
  19. Does anyone know if the app for sure stays open until 10/30? Or do they close after they receive a certain # of applications?
  20. I'm pretty sure any AHA courses require at least an in-person demonstration. The certification is the same for all courses as long as they are AHA, but as the previous commenter mentioned your employer will confirm that it is acceptable.
  21. I don't think anyone on here can answer that for you. It sounds like you need to speak with an attorney and maybe the BON to see if they will even allow that. A lot of attorneys do free consultations so you can hopefully get answers that way.
  22. I think it depends on what your ideal timeline looks like. I know personally, I wanted to graduate and start working ASAP, so I relocated across the country for a program that allowed me to do that. I wouldn't do BMCC due to the length of the program AND you still needing to do a bridge program after (going from adulting to being a student with no income is HARD). I would ago with Mt. Sinai or Wagner, with the final choice obviously being based on which you get accepted to. Keep in mind that going to a school near where you live will likely mean your clinicals will be at hospitals near you, increasing your chances of having a job when you graduate.
