  1. where do you live now? We should look into it together. I created a FB group just now for everyone who got in https://www.facebook.com/groups/769511308691389/
  2. has anyone gotten word on when orientation is? Also does anyone want to look into housing together?
  3. Me too! Congrats guys ? I also got into my first choice SFSU but think it might be smarter to go with SFSU which is closer to me though I'd still have to commute one hour? Is anyone else going to have to commute?
  4. Please help me out with the information you found? I am in the same boat one year later. Which program did you end up choosing? Any regrets? For the the preceptorship seems like a deal breaker as well as being closer to me though I literally dreamed of getting into SFSU for so long that letting go of the idea is breaking my heart a bit.
  5. Which did you end up choosing? Any regrets? I am in the same predicament now and not sure which to chose .
  6. Hi there. Im super late but I'd like to take you up on this offer as I have many questions! I got accepted into both SJSU and SFSU and I'm so torn on which to choose. I live in Santa Cruz so could commute if I chose SJ to save money on rent but I was really excited about SF( which was my top choice). My questions are mainly subjective but I'm looking for advice. Does location even matter that much in nursing school? As In ill be so darn busy to be enjoying my environment anyway. Is the 1 hour commute doable or should I consider moving closer anyway? How highly would you regard the program at SJSU and was it your first choice? Is the extra half a year a big deal or did you find that it didn't affect you much? Thanks so much in advice for anything you share.
  7. Will you be going to the new student orientation? And do you know if we are guaranteed space in our classes?
  8. I'm still waiting for the accepted folks to come forth so we can start a groupchat. I'm wondering about housing and such.
  9. congrats everyone who got in and sorry to those who did not. wishing everyone well.
  10. I got waitlisted with a 9.44. Honestly didn't expect to even make it this far. How long do admitted folks have to accept/deny offers so I know about when to start checking ?
  11. I ended up missing the deadline ?. But I did apply SFSU, SJSU, and CSULB so ?. good luck to you too!!
  12. Holy cow me too. What does this mean ? what are you guys doing to prepare for the interview?
  13. thanks for the oz of hope LOL. Who am I kidding. It honestly felt like busy work but guess I can't ever know for sure unless I try. Applied to 4 CSU and 6 ADN so if nothing bites I'll retake the TEAS and apply again for Spring.
  14. I am looking to apply to Fall 24 with a 68 ( 4.0 88TEAS). I wondering if it's even worth it to apply considering the most recent cutoffs, or If I should instead retake the TEAS and apply for Spring 25?
  15. Hi there! Thanks for making this post. I have a 4.0, healthcare experience, 88 TEAS (first attempt), and will have my last 2 coreqs finished by Spring 24 . I will likely end up retaking the TEAS as much as I don't want to ?
  16. Hi there ! Great Job !! I'm applying with a 4.0, healthcare experience, non bilingual, and an 88 TEAS:( I don't have enough time to retake it and highly doubt I'll make the cut but going to try anyway. Please update us here ! You definitely got this <3
