  1. I applied twice. I slightly re-wrote my cover letter, but everything else was the same. TBH I used my same references/LOR too. However, I "studied" way more for the interview this time. Had multiple stories/examples that could be interchangeable with the 4 different categories. Don't beat yourself up - I was devastated after not getting it first try. But just showed me how bad I want this and made me try even harder. I'm still not sure if I've made it past round 2, but all you can do is try your best. Everything will work out, I promise! Being a new grad is really really hard, but people have done it before us and they will continue to do it after us. Good luck, I mean it ❤️
  2. Same as interview 1 ? I did slightly reuse a story because the topic overlapped that much haha.. different people on this panel though.
  3. It's another panel! But mine was just with 1 other person. The 25 minutes flys by — no time for questions at the end really. And then you get a unit tour and that's it... then have to sit with your anxiety for a couple days to hear back LOL. We were told "end of week... maybe beginning of next week. The latest by 7/31" haha
  4. Interviewed for Acute Care/Dialysis on Thursday and just got the call that I was invited to round 2 ? They said they will provide a follow up email with details. I know that calls are made til end of day, and to my knowledge, they also send rejection emails end of day. Don't give up hope!
  5. A little bit early but I'm starting this for all LPCH Fall 2024 new grad applicants!
  6. Would you guys mind posting resources you used to prepare for the interview?
  7. Would love to hear how 2nd round interviews went and what sorts of questions they asked! Especially for acute care! Much appreciated and good luck everyone ?
  8. They have a timer and warn you if you get close
  9. My interview was terrifying but I don't think I did anything "wrong”… just didn't get to say all the things I'd like to say and was really nervous! Wondering if anyone comes out of these interviews feeling confident? Be prepared for "tell me about a time when" questions
  10. I can't stop refreshing my email looking for the interview invite LOL. Anyone else an internal candidate? Did they send to your work email or personal?
  11. What did the email for the interview look like? Still waiting for an email but my application status got changed
  12. My application got updated to selected for interview but no email yet. I put ICN as #1 and PCU 200 as #2
  13. I applied for NICU and peds unit. Got the initial email that my app was being forwarded to hiring manager, but my application still says under review and no contact for any interviews... safe to say it's a no? ?
