Stanford Children's RN Residency Fall 2024
I applied twice. I slightly re-wrote my cover letter, but everything else was the same. TBH I used my same references/LOR too. However, I "studied" way more for the interview this time. Had multiple stories/examples that could be interchangeable with the 4 different categories. Don't beat yourself up - I was devastated after not getting it first try. But just showed me how bad I want this and made me try even harder. I'm still not sure if I've made it past round 2, but all you can do is try your best. Everything will work out, I promise! Being a new grad is really really hard, but people have done it before us and they will continue to do it after us. Good luck, I mean it ❤️

It's another panel! But mine was just with 1 other person. The 25 minutes flys by — no time for questions at the end really. And then you get a unit tour and that's it... then have to sit with your anxiety for a couple days to hear back LOL. We were told "end of week... maybe beginning of next week. The latest by 7/31" haha

Stanford Children's RN Residency Fall 2024
Interviewed for Acute Care/Dialysis on Thursday and just got the call that I was invited to round 2 ? They said they will provide a follow up email with details. I know that calls are made til end of day, and to my knowledge, they also send rejection emails end of day. Don't give up hope!
