  1. Exactly! I read this guy's threads to see if there is any progress in the attitude arena but he just won't stop... Unbelievable!! Dhel, I'm with you on this. It's time to spread the word.:rotfl:
  2. Thank you all for your responses (nurseMargo, suzanne4, misswoosie, lawrence01). It is nice to see that the nurses on here (including myself :chuckle ), are working together to fight for our rights. I just feel bad for others who may not know or may be under such shameless agency's mercy. I am glad that Suzanne and the rest of you here have taken the necessary steps to reach the completion of the list. The good ones do deserve to stand out.
  3. Dear Friends: There is an issue on the other nurse's forum that just blew out of proportion. It was about nurses making demands of where they want to be placed in. I am not going to repost the whole argument over here, but the whole issue came up and blew out of proportion when someone representing a firm singled out Filipinos and said that Filipino RNs have an attitude where they can make demands on their employers. He said that their nurses are placed in facilities where there is a need; THEY WILL TELL WHEN AND WHERE. If we make such demands on where we will be placed, then we probably will not be considered. It is true that DEMANDING and NEGOTIATING are two different things, but is it really wrong to make some FAIR and REASONABLE demands for our own good? I would really like to hear everyone's opinion. (PS: You may PM me if you wish to get the link to the original poster).
