Hey all! I was planning on applying for this new grad program for Spring 2025. However, I did not realized that the GPA requirement is 3.5. I will be at a 3.4 by the end of my program. I know some times colleges or programs will have a GPA requirement but allow for you to explain why your GPA was low, while others will just filter you out and jobs will set preferred requirement but somehow you still make it past. I wanted to come to this forum to see if anyone applied without meeting the 3.5 GPA requirement and what was your outcome?

Thank you. I was 9/11. I would send an email to admissions because I got the update on the waitlist Tuesday and admission update Friday evening. In the email it said I needed to accept or deny the offer by the end of today.

The initial application deadline was due April 1st, however it was extended to June 1st. I submitted the day before the final deadline.

I applied for the ABSN program in San Mateo. I just got an update and was admitted.

Hey, wanted to start this thread for Samuel Merritt's 2023 cohorts. I applied for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 cohort. I just received an email that I am waitlisted #9 for Fall 2023. I am wondering how slow or fast that waitlist will actually move or even I even have a chance? There is no information in the email on how to check the waitlist periodically. Also, has anyone heard back for the Spring 2024 cohort? That application was due July 1st.
