I am still waiting to hear from Northeastern! When did you get your letter? I interviewed on Feb 17th, what about you? Did you apply to any other schools?

Hi, I am currently going through the application process for direct entry NP programs. I have been accepted to BC, Simmons, and UMASS Worcester. I decided against the first two as they do not have an acute care specialty. I am still waiting to hear from Northeastern and MGH. Does anyone have any opinions on UMASS versus Northeastern? I live closer to Northeaster,, however I prefer the program at UMASS, at least on paper....its cheaper as well. Does anyone know about the reputation of these schools in nursing in general? Thanks!

When do I submit my FAFSA application? I have been accepted to one graduate program already, but I am still waiting on 2 more..... Is there anything else that needs to be done in order for the schools to send financial aid packages?

Are there any students from the graduate entry program at UMASS or the direct entry program at Northeastern that could tell me about their experiences? They are my top choices and I think it would really help to get the "real deal" from some current students. (I am interested in acute care but would love to hear from students in any program) Thanks! -kela

karlynn, I applied to the direct entry programs at Simmons, BC, UMASS, Northeastern, and MGH. Waiting is the worst!!!!!! Is Simmons your first choice? -k
