Hi, I am a retired Registered Radiology Tech and I'm thinking about becoming an LNA because I love the local nursing home. Obviously, I had a lot of training and clinical hours ( more than 3100) to sit for the Radiology exam. I don't feel I should have to take an LNA course to take the LNA licensure exam. Shouldn't all my past education, not to mention, several years of work experience, qualify me to take the LNA test without spending $1000.+ to take the LNA course? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Oh, and by the way, my school is no longer around so getting transcripts is not an option. But to sit for the ARRT exam I had to show proof of passing an accrediated school of Radiologic Technology with over 3100 clinical hrs. (as I stated earlier) Thanks, Pam
