  2. ? I took a note of something during the interview and they said soft offers given the week 9/11 and official offers given week of 9/18
  3. ? I hope they don't push it to like Thursday or Friday :((
  4. Any news yet? I havent gotten anything yet.
  5. they gave the interview emails at 3pm so maybe around the same time?? I feel more anxious waiting for this than the NCLEX
  6. im so anxious and nervous y'all... I hope they send the emails out tomorrow. Praying for good news to give me hope ?
  7. no im thinking tomorrow afternoon they'll send it
  8. I've met some people that graduated from Samuell Merritt! Good luck to all of us :D I know that the right hospital will give us the opportunity!
  9. I went to Mount Saint Mary's University in Los Angeles! A small little school but I miss it so much hahahaha! How about you?
  10. I have ICU, Med Surg, and ED experience from clinicals and did two projects based off the units My two mentors were from Kaiser And I did my preceptorship in Kaiser with a med surg leader so I was able to get my letter of rec from her Yeah I heard if you work in Kaiser they do prioritize them. I only applied to one hospital and it makes me more nervous because Im not competing for any of the group hospitals
  11. I think it went well? Hopefully! geez im such a nervous wreck hahahaha They asked me questions revolved around my location since im based in socal. I had to clarify that I'm moving to my fiance's up north. Then they asked me about why I got into health care and to talk about a time I had to use critical thinking in clinicals. I would like to say it went well since they complimented my presentation and resume. But with my track record so far these compliments havent been enough to land me a job up north hahaha But its okay! We all tried our best and that's all we can be for sure about
  12. next week they are expected to send emails and stuff about who got into the programs ? im so nervous and a little excited. I wish we had more info on how many people interviewed and how many are being hired. Good luck to everyone!
  13. Hi everyone! I interviewed for cohort 7 (Roseville location) this past Tuesday! I wanted to reach out to see who also got into Roseville. It's the only hospital I applied for and I'm a bit nervous since everyone seemed to have went with the group hospitals option. I live in socal and have been looking at apartments to move into in Sacramento. During the interview, they asked me if I was moving in soon. I said yes. I'm hoping that my current location does not deter them from choosing me. I've been losing hope with my dream to moving to norcal because I feel like they don't like the fact that im not nearby yet. Has anyone from the Kaiser residency groups been in my situation? In terms of relocation? We're suppose to receive a soft offer on the week of 9/11 and I am so nervous. I really really really want this job. I just have no idea how many people are being hired for Roseville.
  14. Do y'all know how many people they interviewed? From other forums I've seen them say they've interviewed 180-200 ppl and im wondering if that's still relatively the same During the interview, we were told that they were hiring about 100 people but that they've hired as much as 200 at one point. Just curious
  15. nothing either im assuming they already picked everyone since it was just 10 people. It's okay! Im trying to stay hopeful and manifest that I got the Kaiser position! We'll all be okay ?
  16. One thing I remember my Kaiser mentor said (and she does new grad interviews) is that people can sometimes over practice their answers. It ends up sounding robotic and the interviewers can tell and usually use that opportunity to throw a curveball. Being able to adapt your stories into different scenerios and making sure you make it sound like a conversation! The hospitals that have given me offers are places where the interview felt like we were getting to know one another. The STAR method that babysushi mentioned is amazing! Also, don't be afraid to be yourself and embrace vulnerability. The right hospital will come through! Remember, youre also interviewing them ? Good luck!
  17. they may or may not ask you questions! It all is geared towards your presentation. I do recommend thinking of clinical scenerios you've had because they may want examples to show how u either thought through something, delegated, etc. It is all about you which is a good thing about the interview the I terview itself was interesting. You learn a lot about your fellow new grad nurses and its nice to see everyone's journey. I do day its challenging trying not to compare yourself but I kept reminding myself that it's my story and I should be proud of it regardless of the decisions made in the end
  18. I took a 4 hour nap from how me tally drained I felt hahaha I had my interview at 9:30 today and everyone did so well. I don't even know if I stand a chance since I specifically put Roseville and it seems to be really competitive
  19. just finished so mentally tired and im honestly nervous about the results
  20. from what I remember I don't think theyre having unit interviews? I thought it was just the one panel
  21. Wait When would the updates be made? Did they say beginning or end of this week?
  22. still no email for the link for my interview
