Posting for updates on applications for MLKCH New Grad Residency in South LA. The application closed on May 13th. I did not attend any info sessions, does anyone know an interview timeline? The cohort is supposed to start July 7th

? Congratulations! I hope you have a good start to your nursing career. If I may ask, what kind of experience did you have prior to applying? Im having trouble even getting call backs for the jobs I've applied to, and id appreciate if you had any general tips to share.

I applied and got the questionnaire. The only departments on mine say DOU, Med/tele, Tele, and float.

Did anyone here apply with less than 768 clinical hours? If so how did it go? I went to an accelerated program and did about 708 clinical hours in total. I am thinking about applying to the next cohort, and I don't know if its a waste of time or not. How do they even verify your total clinical hours?

Is there a deadline for this? I see the position was listed about 12 days ago but there isn't a deadline. It doesn't say to include things like transcripts or personal statement either, did those who received a call back upload that as well? I'm working on the application now and don't want to waste my time.

Is anyone planning on working while in school? Im admitted to the Henderson campus. They told us during interviews that many people do work while in school. I've been looking for jobs but so far none really seem that flexible. Any ideas?
