  1. I have now applied twice and gotten rejected both times.. some patterns I've picked up on. 1st round, I was " in review" until a week after the "last day" because they didn't make decisions in time. So I was hopeful because I didn't know any better 2nd round, I realized if they want to make an offer they will almost immediately make an offer after 1-2 weeks they won't really drag it out until the final day. As evidenced by what happened to me 2nd round, many people received offers about a week after our interviews ended and that's how I found out I wasn't getting an offer because I called to confirm. Coming from someone that hasn't had much luck with the process, for me personally the longer I've waited to hear back it's mostly been "rejections" but that's not to scare anyone I'm just sharing my personal insight and how difficult a journey it has been for me to land a new grad position.
  2. I called the recruitment office and they looked me up in the system and told me that I will not be receiving an offer. So maybe you guys can call for an update too? have you heard anything? I called the HR dept and they told me they will not be moving forward with me
  3. I know ? that's why I was saying assuming offers haven't been made I guess we just have to be patient last cycle, I was " in review" and got rejected the last day of decisions and that was after the department extended the deadline for offers an additional week
  4. Same ? looks like 3 people got offers last week that interviewed on 11/6 so technically there's 5 spots left assuming offers haven't been sent out but who knows
  5. I am too but who knows maybe they haven't sent offers for our interview dates?? Or maybe we're delulu hahahaha do you know anyone else that's interviewed on 11/7 or 11/8?
  6. Hey! Have you heard back yet??
  7. Anyone interview with 8ICU on 11/7 or 11/8 that has heard back?
  8. Who knows... I interviewed on 11/7 for 8ICU and those that interviewed a day before me heard back.. so maybe they're only going a few at a time? Last cycle I know that PICU released closer to the deadline so you never know
  9. @Benjamin Jaramilla congrats to both of you!! so that leaves about 5 spots left ?
  10. Yeah let's see how it goes...
  11. OK same, I also interviewed on 11/7
  12. Anyone else interview for 8icu?
  13. Hey! I sent you a PM
  14. OMG congrats! I told you
  15. @D99 @eghattas nope ? no status change on my end
  16. @D99 @eghattas did you guys officially hear back today? I keep refreshing my UCLA homepage and nothing is coming up
  17. when did you happen to interview? I interviewed on the 7th
  18. You never know... maybe the group had different set of questions and talking points.
  19. Did you interview with 8icu? I'm asking people specifically for that unit. I think I saw you interviewed for PICU? OK say a prayer for me I hope I get good news tomorrow! Fingers crossed ??
  20. I really hope so this was my dream unit!! I thought I did well but now im not sure. did they also tell you at the end about the 2 year commitment? Im wondering if that's a good sign?
  21. That's really good ahhh fingers crossed! no nothing for me ? I interviewed on the 7th
  22. I did interview with 8icu! Ugh I'm hoping that's a good sign they told me that at the end but I haven't noticed a status change
  23. How do you think your interview went? Did they mention at the end about the 2 year commitment before they will consider accommodating your school/ work schedule? I haven't heard back yet
  24. Oh that's good! That means you're probably gonna get an offer
