  1. Same boat. Our cohort's NCLEX was delayed due to a school error and we missed all of the new grad positions. Super frustrating. I've applied to like 30 jobs so far LOL
  2. @Kenji12345 Yes, they are going to excuse me from orientation due to the circumstance, but I am responsible for making sure I obtain all of the information via their slideshow and asking peers if I have questions. I really wish I could go to it in person. If everything wasn't paid for I would definitely just cancel.
  3. Does anyone know from previous experience if the mandatory orientation on August 1st is really mandatory? I will be at a wedding in France that's been planned almost a year and I emailed nursing department but haven't heard back.
  4. Hey! Just in case you didn't see my message awhile back we started a facebook group as well. Some people might not have FB but feel free to join that as well. We've got some good info on there including the fall schedule. Here's the link again https://m.facebook.com/groups/307985961579245/?ref=share&mibextid=S66gvF
  5. Same here! I applied to a couple of private schools just in case, but GWC was the only one I was interested in going to, so I am SO relieved to be in! Preparation-wise, I am currently taking pharmacology through Chaffey College to get a head start. I only signed up for it because I wasn't sure if I would get in and wanted to improve points to apply to SAC, but by the time we got acceptances, it was too late to drop. Oh well, one less thing to have to take later. I'd say just enjoy your Summer! Have you scheduled titers yet? I'm planning to do that next week hopefully.
  6. I created a facebook group for fall 2023 cohort https://www.facebook.com/groups/307985961579245/?ref=share_group_link
  7. Oh yeah I'm sure it doesn't matter which way you do it as long as you get it done. I just did it that way because Adobe wasn't opening and I didn't feel like messing around with it
  8. No prob:)I printed and signed then emailed back
  9. This is what mine says: Hello, We have received your admission contract. Most clinical requirements should not be started yet. However, due to the lengthy process for vaccines and titers, you could have titers drawn for MMR, Varicella and Hepatitis B by your physician now. If the results are negative, you should either start the vaccination series over or receive a booster. Positive titers proving immunity to MMR, Varicella and Hepatitis B are mandatory for the program. Lab reports for titers must have been dated within the past 3 years. Equivocal or negative results not acceptable. Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR): Positive IgG antibody titer for all 3 components (lab report required). If your titer is negative, you must repeat the vaccination series or booster and provide a positive titer after completion of the series or booster. Varicella: Positive IgG antibody titer (lab report required). If your titer is negative, you must repeat the vaccination series or booster and provide a positive titer after completion of the series or booster. Hepatitis B: Positive IgG antibody titer (lab report required). If your titer is negative, you must repeat the vaccination series or booster and provide a positive titer after completion of the series or booster. Hepatitis B Vaccine - 3 Doses HEPLISAV B Vaccine – 2 Doses (This series is recommended) If you know you haven't received MMR, Varicella or Hep B vaccinations ever then your titers will be negative. You should start the series right away.  Disclaimer: This is not a full list of requirements for the program. Detailed Pre-Enrollment Requirements will be provided to your CCCD email in a separate email byearly-July. It is not recommended to start anything beyond checking for positive titers as mentioned above. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate on reaching out to the Nursing Office. Thank you,
  10. Got accepted for Fall '23 cohort! Good luck everyone ?
  11. I can't wait to stress out for 2 additional weeks yayyyyy LOL
  12. Maybe you had more CSU requirements than me? It might not be based strictly on points. I have 4.0, but I am still missing sociology and an art class. At least it's reassuring that I'll probably hear something soon. I just wish it was sooner so I knew if I needed to take pharmacology this Summer or if I can just chill LOL
  13. OMG congrats!! I'm still waiting. They confirmed I stayed at 70 points so I don't understand why I still have not received a call. This is pure torture. I applied for CEP too so I feel like I should have heard something. Ugh trying to stay patient
  14. How many points did you have? Just for reference so we know where they're at so far in selections
  15. I REALLY HOPE we get notified by end of day tomorrow because I can't take all this anxiety any longer! ? Good luck everyone. Counting down the hours until we hear something
