    Hello all , I am in college and is about to start my sophomore year in the (fall of 23, Spring 24) school year and my major is nursing. I want to become a RN then go back to school to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I Have a question about shadowing/ Volunteering....? Is OK to volunteer/shadow at a pediatric office before going into nursing school? If so how can that be done to gain some experience in that field of work. How should I ask , I have a asked a few places and they won't allow me to shadow because I am not a nursing student yet that is in nursing school.... Please help me out .... Thank you in advance.
