  1. I was 4 months in to the 12-month reinstatement process. I've been doing this since Oct 2021 and will finish in May 2026. Took me 19 months to get my license reinstated and find a job, then I started a 3-year probation in May 2023.
  2. Why does it take so long for some tests to show results? I had O-722099 on 8/14...10 days later it still says Received at Lab-No Result. I had another test last week that resulted the very next day. I'm down to only 8 months left, and these O panels get me every time with the turnaround times. I had a Codeine positive test during my reinstatement process due to some poppy seeds, and I had to do a restart. I know I haven't had any of those, and I have been 100% sober for over 4 years. I just have such a fear-based guilty conscience still because I was such a liar in addiction for so long. I feel guilty even when I'm telling the truth LOL. Uggghhhhh, can't wait for this to be over. Just had to vent. Guess I'll call my case mgr tomorrow if it still isn't back. Just hate getting on his radar.
  3. Hi, once I got my license reinstated, it took around 6 weeks. I submitted the application for removal. They approved it within a few weeks, but they only update their list once a month...so, I had to wait for the list to be updated in their system before everything was official. It's a pretty straightforward process. Even talked to someone in OIG over the phone, and she was very helpful. Good luck!
  4. Glad I found this thread this morning. I'm waiting on a test to come back and concerned it might show ETG r/t some new bread I've been eating which lists 2 types of fermented flour as ingredients. I know something's up with this test because it's taking too long and my CM told me it's a "work in progress with no ETA". I've even done a test since that one and already have those negative results. So, I've been wracking my brain what it might be and then remembered my new bread and checked the label. I'm paranoid because I tested positive for codeine during my reinstatement r/t poppy seeds and had to restart the process. Luckily, I was only 4 months in and didn't lose much time. Uggghhhhhh!!! Hurry up Affinity!!!
  5. Thank you, and thanks for the support! Best of luck in your journey!
  6. I have been clean and sober since 5/31/21. I worry about my test results because 3 years ago, during my license reinstatement process, I unknowingly ate some poppy seeds and tested positive for a "tiny amount of Codeine" as the MRO called it. I had to restart my reinstatement from the beginning, which sucked, but I did it. I've been doing reinstatement and then probation for 35 months now, and only 19 more to go. I'm grateful for my life/sobriety, and dedicated to being an honest, decent human. But anxiety is in my DNA, and my poppy seed experience proved to me that even innocent mistakes can be very costly. That's "why on Earth" I'm anxious.
  7. Has anyone noticed a delay in results being posted on Affinity right now? I tested Friday morning (10/4), and nothing is posted yet. It would usually at least say "received at lab - no result" by now. I know I'm okay, but damn this anxiety LOL!
  8. My exclusion did not involve legal charges. It was for surrendering my license. Took 18 about 18 months for them to contact me. They're slow.
  9. I just talked to a wonderful lady in D.C., and I was removed on 4/5/23. Never got the letter, but she emailed me a copy. There is at least 1 compassionate human working there! Thanks for the support! My paranoia is over!
  10. Thank you for responding. It took me 18 months just to get the RN back. So, I just keep thinking that God wouldn't have brought me this far for something silly to screw it all up!
  11. Okay, thank you! I'll call on Monday. Jeez...what an anxiety-laden journey this has been!
  12. Thanks for responding! I had listed the Status of my license as "Active" and then entered the date of my reinstatement, but I'm thinking I should have said "Probation" instead of "Active". Then, the next question asks if I'm under any sanctions by any licensing authority, to which I answered "No". My thinking was that a sanction is something taken away, whereas my license was given back to me. I had to include a copy of my new Agreed Order which lists the stipulations of my probation anyway, so they will see that in the Order. Do you think I'm just being paranoid? My exclusion was based on the surrender of my license. Thank you!
  13. How did the OIG treat you when you called them? I recently had my RN license reinstated after surrendering it due to substance abuse. I submitted my application for reinstatement to the OIG a few weeks ago. Now, though, I'm second-guessing how I answered one of their questions after reviewing my application again just now. I may be just overthinking it, but I want to be completely transparent with them. I'm willing to call them to discuss that particular question, but I'd like to know how they actually treat people. I'm probably just being paranoid, but it's been such a long road to get here, I don't want an inadvertent technicality to screw this up. Thank you!
