  1. No, it does not count! As long as you are not in a hospital setting you should be fine!
  2. I plan to do the postmasters NP Program; it is longer but I do understand why they make nurses wait a year to apply; I think it's to get experience as a nurse first. If you get in, I think you should weigh out your options and what matters to you the most. Length of time to reach your goal, or the cost of the program that offer NP in their ELM programs. Ultimately, either decision will be great. You'll get knowledge either way!! Best of luck to you and your journey.
  3. I thought today would be the day. I was so excited, but I guess not. I hope you guys have a great stress free weekend, especially now that we know decisions aren't coming anytime soon. I'm sorry guys.
  4. The longer they wait, the more people go with different schools that they got accepted into. It shouldn't take this long. I think beginning of April should be the deadline so students who get accepted can get their affairs in order for the school year, like moving etc.
  5. Literally I was like, excuse me? End of April? He said yup the end of April. That doesn't make any sense but alrighty LOL
  6. I think that all schools should have deadline for accepting/declining students. I had to sign my letter of intent for another school because the deadline was on 4/13. The end of April is 2 weeks away smh. I called the number under "applicant resources" on the school of nursing ELM page. He picked right up.
  7. I'm disappointed to say the VERY least.
  8. I just called, they are still open. He told me that decisions are being sent out at the end of April.
