  3. Congratulations!! You will need to have a health assessment completed by a PCP and submit verification of vaccinations and TB tests. There are other forms that need to be signed and uploaded such as the academic policy, HIPPA, etc.
  4. I am a student in the University of Alabama's FNP post MSN certificate program. I will be starting clinicals Summer 2024 and would like to start getting clinical preceptors lined up. Ideally, I would like to complete the majority of my clinical hours on weekends as I am currently working at an ambulatory surgery center and am trying to work as close to full time as possible throughout the program. I will need rotations in primary care, OBGYN care, and pediatric care. I am located roughly 30 miles south of Atlanta and am willing to travel as far north as Atlanta and as far south as Macon.
  5. @MOONNightNURSE I am starting my FNP post MSN certificate in May and am so excited! I am going to do the 3Ps Summer and fall and then clinicals next Summer with the traditional FNP program. I am in GA and work full time (Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p) and am a little anxious about clinicals. My employer is reimbursing tuition but I have to remain full time to qualify. I have already found some locations near me open on weekends and later in the evenings and will just need to contact the practices to see if they are willing and pass the clinical agreement process. Just curious if they are picky about how many preceptors and locations you use per semester and if they allow you to complete a bulk (50-60hrs) of your hours in one "cram" week
