  1. I see that California Hospital has applications open. Anyone know when would be the start date ? I can't seem to find any info for upcoming cohorts either. Would appreciate any help!
  2. You're gonna get in ? I think up to 15 students get off the waitlist, or very least 10. So consider yourself in, congrats!
  3. Yes, it was a denial though. So maybe they just sent out denials yesterday which is a good sign! Wishing you luck
  4. Is there some facebook page for admitted students? Also, did the class size stay at 40 for this year?
  5. They always say you should hear back by the end of February LOL
  6. Dang I feel like at this point calls are over. They only have about 20 students to call.
  7. Hi, created this thread for those that applied to the 2024 UCLA MECN program. Has anyone heard back from them or know when we will hear something?
  8. Should take about 20 minutes to complete. You are given about 2 minutes of think time and have about a minute and a half to respond. I don't think it would be wise to answer anything in relation to the questions that were asked. While many would like to help, I'm sure no one wants to risk their chance of getting into a school by sharing anything about confidential questions. If you want to be a nurse, learn to handle stressful situations. I don't think you need to take this out on future potential classmates
  9. I don't really remember the questions. However, I don't believe I can provide any information about the interview questions regardless. I can say that you are given about 30 seconds to a minute to think of your answer before recording. My advice would be to record 1 to two minute mock interviews on your laptop/phone. If you mess up, just keep the recording going. Continue to do this until you feel more comfortable. This way you can mimic what it's like on the actual interview; no pauses and no redos.
  10. Did the interview last year. You have one chance to record your response. However, you can listen to it as soon as you stop recording, again you aren't able to make changes. I think it should take you max 30min to complete. Best of luck !
  11. Received a virtual interview invite too. Also received a link for a fellowship essay. I can't find any information on it through UCIs website. Anyone know anything?
  12. Still haven't heard anything back since my interview. Emailed them and said we should know something by July....
  13. When did you submit your interview? Also, any other second wave applicants hear back yet? I still have no update on being accepted waitlisted or denied
  14. Second round applicant here. I just checked my portal and I have no update, still waiting
  15. Hi, would you be able to provide a link to the fellowship? Or was this only available to first wave applicants?
  16. I think as long as you click on the "View and Accept Invitation" link that was sent in the second email it should be OK? But again, if you want just go through the instructional video. It just shows you how the program works. You don't have to do the practice interview. I did the practice one right before the actual interview
  17. I was worried that something like that would occur, so what I did was click the link on the email that was sent. I just went through the instructional videos and then exited. I was able to go back the next day, repeat the same steps but continued to the actual interview when I was ready.
  18. It really has helped me to just go over common nursing school interview questions
