Hi Ola, Any updates on apartments? I have been looking for a 1 bedroom but the prices are a bit more than I expected, might as well get a 2 bedroom as the prices are close enough. I have been so busy that's why I haven't set up the Google drive yet as my priority is finding a place, figuring out my current lease and all.

I applied to your too but was accepted for the Spring and even got their scholarship (where you work for them for 3 years) but I decline acceptance since I accidently applied to their Spring cohort but wanted the Fall. I was only able to defer acceptance to the Summer but would have to reapply for scholarship and would have to pay their 1,000 deposit. I asked them to transfer my application to the fall and decline the Spring acceptance as I did not want to pay 1000 then I don't end up going there. But as you mention the 15 months to 12 months and the tuition played a huge role for me. So Brockport is definitely where I wanted to go. The semester starts May 28th, it was in the email the director sent. Plus there is a mandatory orientation on May 20th. Can you please share any of those NCLEX questions or website you plan on using? I will put a file together with links of people I researched about who go in details about certain subjects that we will have during the semester and so on. I need to get my BLS too so I will use those 5 months to get anything I need or go over things I need to review. I am planning on going out there as well and figure this out too. I won't be working as well so saving money is the goal.

Hi, Are there any towns that you would recommend? I would hope rent is more affordable there than in NYC. I am looking to get a place that is near school so that commuting isn't as bad. Would you guys want me to set up a facebook page (if you do have one) so we can communicate more easier that way rather than this forum?

I feel like I will have to review my A&P prior to the start of the program and also check some YouTube videos/flashcards about pharmacology n other subject we will have so I can have an idea and familiarize myself. Hi All, I wanted to create this new topic for SUNY Brockport Second degree BSN nursing program for the cohort of Summer 2024. I submitted my application 09/06 but my ABSN Professional statement on 09/29 and ABSN secondary application on 09/28. Based on previous thread which there aren't many for this school, most people got a response for the cohort 2017 in December. Wishing all of us good luck to get in, I am super anxious and hope I get in as this is the school I really want to get into. I currently live in NYC, Brooklyn to be specific. If anyone is currently in the program and want to share their experience, please do so, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hey, I just heard back as well. I am waitlisted!! As you said, its better news than what I was expecting!! What school are you waiting to hear from? I had applied to Mercy and got accepted but I declined acceptance last month and was able to get my deposit back ? Mercy NCLEX scores made me decline their acceptance.

Hi, Are you able to give an input of the program so far for you? Is it hybrid? Do you think its manageable the fact its hybrid? Are you living on campus or off campus? I live in NYC and if I apply there, I will have to move.

I think you should still apply for it as you never know. My chemistry grade wasn't the best and I don't think it average to what they asked. But I would say to have a good personal statement and LOR. Good luck!!

Don't be sorry!! If anyone has ideas, comments or questions to something that wasnt asked straight to them, I think its fine to answer honestly. We don't know much about the programs and are new but as a pack we might learn more from other's opinions, questions and comments. I kept looking for your comment but couldnt see it until I saw it was edited LOL.

I couldnt believe it when I saw it. I know someone who was in the Mercy program not long ago and she said how its unorganized and hard. What save her was group studying. I feel like at this point whichever program we go to, it won't be easy but either way im ready to give it my all and push through the end. What other schools/programs you applied to in NYS? What are the other top 2?

? This waiting game is killing. Pace is my top 1, I really hope I don't have to go to Mercy due to their low NCLEX scores.

Hello, I wanted to create this forum for anyone who is applying for the Fall 2013 ABSN program at Mercy located in the Bronx, NY. I recently was accepted to Mercy for the Summer 2023 ABSN program but I had to defer my acceptance to the Fall 2023 instead as I am moving in the Summer. Thought it would be best to discuss, share info, stats, updates, info on Fall 2023 Program at Mercy. Previous Cohorts please feel free to share how the program is going or give any tips! Thank you ? I applied to Mercy on 2/1 just like Pace. When I did, I submitted the wrong transcript which did not have my grade for Micro and A&P 2. Someone from Mercy emailed me and told me that was missing so I emailed him the correct transcript and uploaded the updated transcript on Pace portal. I got an answer for Mercy yesterday (2/8).
