Hi all! I will be graduating from my NP Program this December (2026) as a pediatric primary care nurse practitioner. I live in California and will be getting licensed in California and was wondering if anyone has gone through the examination/licensing process in California and about how long that process took from when you graduated. I work at a children's hospital currently as an RN and have a clinic within the system that is potentially interested in hiring me, but I want to provide them an accurate timeline of when I would actually be able to start working.

I ended up getting accepted into Dukes MSN FNP program and that's what I'm doing. I will continue on to their DNP program following graduation is the plan.

So I know someone else posted that they hadn't received an email to set up their net ID too, and I ended up calling Duke IT today and they told me they didn't have my email address on file (IDK how that's possible with all the email stuff we've done so far) but then he was able to get everything set up for me! So if you're having that problem just call Duke IT. also I never received an email from Keysha about the matriculation plans or anything yet? I'm very confused at what's happening?

Hi everyone! We should create a facebook group! Also has anyone heard word from Duke since paying deposit and replying to offer of admission? I got a "congrats on committing to Duke" email the other day, but haven't heard anything about next steps.

Hi guys! Just accepted my offer of admission yesterday, and I'm wondering if anyone else knows where we are supposed to send our official transcripts? I've been super busy and don't know if I just overlooked where they said to send them. Thanks:)

Just wanted to let everyone know that I called today and the admissions officer told me decisions would be released on Friday.

Has anyone else reached out to admissions to see what they say about decisions timeline?

I asked a week ago and they told me by mid April!!

Hi! I've been meaning to respond to this, but I emailed admissions and they said MSN decisions will be released by mid-April! Soon!

Did they ask you to submit other things besides what was on the application??
