  1. @shelbylikethecobra Yes, agreed- definitely stressful. I really enjoyed the interview though. The faculty are amazing and you can tell they're really looking for people who will be a good fit for their cohort and program. @AJ Kaiser It's a personality based/EI interview for the most part.
  2. Who else got the email for the meet and greet and is now nervous? ?
  3. Also, I think these stats are relatively accurate. If I recall correctly, the program director mentioned similar numbers during a Q&A several months ago. I think the number maybe 'lower' because although they may receive many initial applications, only so many are complete and meet the program application requirements.
  4. I'm not entirely sure how they're approaching/prioritizing invites to interview. I did not receive an invite that very first day they were sent out I think Friday the 3rd, but did receive one the following week. I did not schedule my interview right away and received a call reminder a few days later to schedule it and was notified I had until 2/16 to do so. I guess invites are sent out in waves as people decline and accept interviews...?
  5. I got California too! That's probably because I live here ?.
  6. They left a voicemail stating I'll find out my site via the acceptance letter that will be sent out either tomorrow or the following day. I see that someone has the Denver site so not sure if I'll be getting it as my top choice.
  7. I emailed the administrative assistant S**** L****** this afternoon. She said they are back getting everything updated today. Decisions will be out by Feb 15th but we should have updates by end of this week. And thank you!
  8. I emailed them today to inquire about decision status and they said we should hear back by the end of this week. They did mention the weather last week did cause some delays. A few moments later I received a call from one of my top choice schools so I have accepted that offer. Kinda bummed because I wanted to be closer to family in Texas if possible but super excited to have gotten into a really good school!
  9. Not sure how to delete all nursing, but this really good advice. Logging off for good if I can help it. Thanks for everyone's insight this cycle and good luck to all!
  10. I'm still holding on hope for my top choice. I did put arrowhead as my top 3 so I'm a little anxious what this could mean ? trying to stay positive
  11. @Marcus37 Just out of curiosity, do you know what the stats were for people in your cohort who got coveted clinical sites? Considering site placement is ranked on GPA, GRE, and interview, how competitive do you have to be to get a site that let's say only accepts 2 students for example? ?
  12. @Marcus37 blink twice if you know if we got in or not haha @baristanurse I initially was going to wait until next cycle to apply but then decided to do it this year after hearing about the extension. I was granted an interview right away even though I applied late. I feel like I have an equal shot as those who applied in the original deadline, but who knows ??‍♀️. It never hurts to try IMO. Good luck to you!
  13. @Marcus37 Thank you for updating us! You're the best, seriously.
  14. @VeronikaD BSN RN CCRN if I remember correctly, I chose Denver because I was like it'd be cool to live there haha. I didn't know much about which sites give the best clinical experience so I went off vibes. Best of luck to you on getting one of your top choices!
  15. @Marcus37 oh OK, makes sense. Dallas is pretty cool so I can see why it's highly sought after. I guess I'm just thankful for the experience altogether and hoping for the best. Thanks for all your insight!
  16. @VeronikaD BSN RN CCRN Very true. Which can clinical site did you choose? I almost wish I had ranked the DFW sites higher. I really liked the Dallas area.
  17. @VeronikaD BSN RN CCRN Oh that would be awesome! They mentioned giving the administrative assistant enough time to rank interviews in a spread sheet for decisions to be made. I think that's why they give the February timeline just to be safe.
  18. Program director said emails will notify us of either denial, waitlist, or acceptance with designated clinical site early February-ish. Sorry, I know the question wasn't for me specifically, but that's the info I received. Hope that helps!
  19. I got lotttttsss of patho and pharm, a few math questions and some EI questions. Interview was very fun and you can tell the professors and program director enjoy what they do. Wishing us all good luck!
  20. @Marcus37 Hi Marcus! I know you're in popular demand. I decided to apply this year since they extended the deadline and have an interview in January. Are you still available for another mock interview after the holidays?

  22. @Marcus37 Thanks, Marcus. Really helpful information, and I appreciate you being open to answering questions. Definitely going to take you up on that offer to reach back out with more questions.
  23. @@Marcus37 Hi Marcus, since you're a current student are you able to speak a little about the program? Just curious how you like the program and if you/students feel prepared clinically and for boards. Also, what are some of the best clinical sites?
