  1. It sounds like you need a reality check, Love. Does your preceptor need to alter her prescribed medication regimen to make you more comfortable? As a new RN, I'm sure you're aware that Adderall is usually divided into two daily doses: one in the morning and one around lunch. Waiting until after her shift to take PRESCRIPTION Adderall not only defeats the purpose, but can also cause serious sleep disturbances. I'd keep my opinions to myself, try to judge less and observe more. If these are truly your complaints and perception of what constitutes a negative preceptorship experience, I think you have a lot of growing to do.
  2. Girlfriend, I wouldn't complain about a preceptor taking their PRESCRIBED medications in front of you. For people that take prescription medication, 12 hour shifts generally necessitate that.
