  1. Does anyone know if the GRE will be waived for this next round? Have they made the decision yet.
  2. Do we know how many were accepted in each program? Looking forward to this process next round! Did most who wanted LEADS get in? Thankful for this group.
  3. I just found that number, thank you! I left a message. Thank you again for all the help!
  4. Thank you so much, I will be applying next round and will be moving there this Summer for other reasons. Should I be accepted, I was trying to figure out if the 12 months starts at application or acceptance/ enrollment and if I didn't get the cut off, but was already living there would I at least be able to apply for in state the following hear. Maybe I will reach out to the finance department and find out. Thank you for responding!
  5. Does anyone know how getting instate residency works? Do you have to establish residency 1 year before application or acceptance? I know some programs there isn't much difference for tuition, but the website is a little unclear how
  6. Does anyone know if you have to have residency status before you start program to get in state or can you apply still after a year in program?
  7. Thank you so much. Last question. When do you enroll if you get in? As soon as you hear?
  8. Hello all! I was just curious if it’s announced when the program begins. I will not be this years application cycle but for planning purposes. I thought I read Summer session begins in June. Is that true?
  9. Great advice, thank you so much! I totally understand why the system is set up that way, I was just curious. Sounds like the LeaDS program is a great option!
  10. I have a question hoping someone isight on. I have an interdisciplinary undergrad in health as I was a student athlete. I want to move to Austin and want to apply to the AE MSN but the "only able to practice as an RN in Texas" worries me. What if I don't want to continue to the NP, are there really no options to be a nurse after year 1. I realize I can find other programs but wondering if there is something I am missing. UT doesn't offer an accelerated BSN and I really think I want to be an NP, I just wonder what happens to people who change their mind and are not from Texas. Can you go back to your state and take the NCLEX there and practice or would you have to start over at another school in an RN program even though you have passed the NCLEX. Thoughts? Thank you in advance.
