Yeah it’s a hard line between trying to get your skills and abilities across and sounding like your a “know it all” even if I just mentioned I’m good at EMRs, LOL and helped nurses that aren’t fond of technology.

I’ve found that the new grad preceptor program is great but it does have limitations to its usefulness in some cases. New nurses were complaining that it goes over things 3-6 months after they were doing the skills on the floor everyday.

I would absolutely travel but I agree I would need at least a year in a hospital specialty to feel secure in traveling as a new nurse. But if it comes to it I might have to to get experience. I am in a position to travel so it is tempting.
