  1. Thank you so much for getting back to me on this. I will keep searching.
  2. I am a RN in Tennessee. Congrats on the job opportunity at BCBS!! I have been trying to find out information on how to become a clinical documentation specialist. I would like to work from home, and I see many job opportunities for this role. So far, NOBODY I have contacted, including several colleges, has been able to tell me how to pursue this. The colleges offer a health information management course, in which you will end up with either an associates or bachelors in health information. But I am not certain that I need to get an associates or bachelors in health information management to become a clinical documentation specialist. I know to become certified in this, you have to work from 1-2 years in a clinical documentation position before you qualify to take the test for certification. But how do you get started? What classes or training do you need, and where can you get it???? Can anyone give me direction? I'm so frustrated!!
