Do we rank units within specialty tracks at at all? The guidelines just say specialty tracks so I am unsure ? --- All applicants are required to include a cover letter with their application. In the cover letter, please address each bullet point listed below: Desired specialty track - apply to no more than three specialty tracks Rank your specialty track preferences 1, 2, and 3

I am a little confused. When they say list the desired specialty track (no more than three) and rank specialty track preferences do they mean to rank the units within the specialty track?

Thank you for the information! I am surprised at how quick the whole application process is compared to Stanford. There seems to be a lot of different tracks to choose from, which is nice! I am not sure how I will write my cover letter yet either. Were you able to find other ways to access the webinar?

I know in the past they asked for letters of recommendations but just wanted confirmation that this time it is only references. Thank you!! I also applied to Stanford and Kaiser, but did not get accepted. I had two interviews for Stanford. I worked as an extern on an peds acute med-surg floor! But I did not have my practicum in peds. I also do not have my license yet so I wonder if that is something they factor in. What about you? I'll keep praying for us! The job search as a new grad has been so tiresome haha.

I chose acute care and hem/onc. I'm just discouraged since the interview is next week ? I wonder if they would consider us for other departments? I wonder what they are looking for in choosing candidates since there wasn't really application questions/essays like I have seen in other residency applications. Hoping for the best for us!!

Thanks so much! I also applied for Stanford Adult and heard later than others so that is why I am trying not to think too much of it. May I ask if there was a sign up link for the group panel interviews like the Stanford Adult?

Congratulations! I also applied for Acute Care but have not heard anything. Does anyone know if they send invites in batches? Not sure if I should still keep my hopes up haha.

Thank you for sharing! I think that is pretty reasonable too. I worked as a CNA on a unit where all the nurses were rotating, except it would be like 2 days 1 night in the same week. After a couple of years and depending on seniority, they could request for all days or nights.

May I ask what unit this is if you feel comfortable sharing?

I received a call around 5pm

I had my interview for Surgical 1 on Tuesday and got a call later that evening! It's an individual interview, no group. I feel like each unit probably has their own timeline in making decisions, so they could still be making decisions and giving calls out. Best wishes to everyone! Even if this doesn't turn out the way we hope, I have faith everyone will find a job/place they are happy at. Nursing needs us ?
