Hi! There were a few details on that first week in the offer letter! Monday and Tuesday will be online (I think) and then Wednesday through Friday is in person for all New Grad Nurses. The following week we'll start with specific department orientation

How was her commute home? I tried mapping it out and it says the commute there is within 30 minutes but the commute home seems like it'll be over an hour. What was her experience like?

For those that have accepted the position, where do you plan to live? I'm not familiar with the area! Does anyone have recommendations on specific apartment complexes or landlords to reach out to?

For those that have accepted a position, have you all signed an official contract yet? I'm still waiting for a contract.

I got an email just before 9:30am this morning saying they're reviewing my application for mission bay OR, they'll let me know if I'm selected, and to plan for 8/18 in the morning for interviews. Then around 4:00pm I got another interview saying that mission bay OR will be doing interviews next week and to be on the lookout. So, no more interviews tomorrow for mission bay OR.

Did anyone else get an email about periop interviews being next week instead of tomorrow? Wondering if that's for everyone or not.

My application still says received as well and I didn't have any additional certifications. I put operating room and emergency department as my preference in my cover letter.

Mine for peds ED wasn't timed! They said in the beginning they'd ask 3-5 questions depending on how much time we had. I was the only candidate though! I have a feeling my interview tomorrow for adult surgical will be timed since there's up to 3 candidates per time slot.

I specified peds ED in my peds CC cover letter! I'm not sure! The people interviewing me are specific to the peds ED though

thank you!! I think they are completely separate! The email I got specified pediatric emergency department and didn't seem inclusive to other peds departments

Not yet! Still waiting to hear back! I got an interview for adult surgical (first preference - specified oncology) and for pediatric ED (third preference). I put periop for my second preference and didn't get an interview invite

For Peds ED there were 16 slots. 1 candidate per slot!

I completed my capstone at a level 1 trauma in the ED. Not sure if that's why or not! I'm sure they're still sorting through things!

This happened for me too! Mine initially went under review on 8/8 and now it says under review 8/14
