Did anyone interview? What was your experience like ?

Hey! sorry that no one got back to you with in insights but are you willing to share how your experience was? I have my panel interviewing coming up soon

Hey everyone, yes, if you haven't heard back then you u fortunately didn't get in. Loma Linda and most hospitals don't reach out to you with rejection email. I didn't get in for the previous cohort or this one and they never reach out telling you you didn't get in:/ your portal will just change close to the date of when the next cycle opens up. Just remember, this doesn't define you and it is not a reflection of the type of nurse you are/ will be. Keep your heads up and we will get in where it's meant to be. Look at this as it being good interview practice and take the time to reflect on what went well and what you can improve. We will end up where it's meant to be!!

I really believe that it's a technical error on their end. Most managers are reaching out via email or text so logging in won't really tell us if we get an interview or not Have you heard from them?

I just did my video, and I blacked out. One question is definitely why Loma Linda, and the second is the one I genuinely don't remember the specific question. I answered it sort of like what I bring to the team/ my strengths that will help me in the residency (this is not advice to follow, just posting my experience). Please take your time to think about your answer when doing the video!! but remember you need to respond to BOTH questions in the 3 minute video.

for those of you who were selected last cohort, I wanted to ask you if your video interview was specific to the units you applied to or if you made it more general. For example, I selected transplant as my number one choice, in the video interview should I say "I bring XYZ to your transplant team" or should I just say "I bring XYZ to your nursing team"

I just got an invite for an interview too! I got an interview for last cohort as well but never got called back after the video submission. I believe the questions they ask are why Loma linda and what do you bring to the team. look back in the Spring cohort thread and theres more info. I will be going back to look right now too

Thanks for creating this! I completed the video interview in the Summer and their turn around time was pretty quick I believe so hopefully we hear back soon.

I've heard it's best to try to get your application in ASAP, like if you can do it the day it opens the better!

Just a FYI for other cohorts. The open house is mandatory in order to be considered for an interview. I RSVPd too late and the HR person told me that the open house is part of the interview process. I told them to update the website so once the open house fills up we can't sign up anymore for transparency.
