  1. @lcra if you look through this discussion you will see many of us have posted stats. Good luck we, we are cheering you on!
  2. I only took the TEAS once. 97.7. This score is definitely not needed. It seems anything above 85 is good
  3. @syantel there's no specific definitive range, rather it depends on the application pool and what their scores are. I am in this cohort and you really want to maximize your phase 1 score as moving to phase 2 is based solely on the top scores of phase 1. The scores are not shared or discussed within our cohort much, from this who have had open conversations about it I think there may be one 45 phase one score with the rest being 50 and above and majority 55 and above. Plus the better you have for phase 1, there's less pressure for the TEAS I did hear there is discussion, not a decision, to start only taking those with a phase one of 55 or higher. Like many nursing schools, there is more self teaching than teaching and it takes a strong self starter to do well. If you make it to phase two then they add your TEAS score to the phase 1 score and offer the top 32 scores a place. I had a 55 phase 1 and studied 2 1/2 months for the TEAS to maximize my TEAS and I'm glad I did because there were definitely people with higher phase 1 points than me. I hope this helps
  4. It really is a process to get items cleared once uploaded. I have all my documents cleared (as of last Friday) and did not receive anything to register, I believe we will be able to register after orientation.
  5. FYI - we need two consecutive TB tests spaced between 7-21 days apart. COVID: mine was approved and I submitted my original Pfizer series (2020) plus one booster (1/21) so as long as you have the original series with one boosters it will be accepted, regardless of when it was administered. I'm so relieved because I didn't want to take it again!
  6. I would call your urgent care to confirm. If it happens to be part of your PCP's network, I'd say maybe. Other portions could be another provider in the same office or go to a place like Concerta and pay out of pocket. im sure you all saw we have til the end of the month to get this done. also a COVID update, based on the convo we had I went ahead and submitted what I had, I figured worst case scenario it will be denied and I have to get another booster. I will let you know if my past 2 series vaccine plus 1 booster passes despite it being from so long ago!
  7. I honestly am not sure! It's doesn't explicitly state in the requirements. I guess we can submit what we have and see if it's approved or not. I prefer to not have to take it again based on the way I reacted to my initial 2 doses and booster. The 2 part TB test seems a bit much but that's going to take the longest to complete.
  8. Yes I got confirmation from [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] that I signed my welcome letter. The background check is through compilo and when I log in I see it was completed and meets requirements. If you didn't get the confirmation email, I'd email [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] tonight and follow-up with a call tomorrow to make sure there isn't a transmission error. I saw my ID on LMC's website for my acceptance but never got the email. I had to reach out to [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] and there were 5 people, including myself, who had a transmission error and the only way she knew was from us directly reaching out to her. I hope that helps!
  9. I did my physical, CPR, waiting on drug screen clearance, and still getting vaccines and boosters. I also was curious if there's a deadline, I am spreading out the boosters and vaccines. I react a little bit to each one sadly and I'm dreading getting COVID booster again. I have to plan for "sick" time for that just in case. I didn't have the best experience last time.
  10. I found a drug screening location in San hose and emailed them and they changed my location order! For CSUEB, they with a counselor almost two months ago and if you have a non nursing degree, the current requirements don't necessarily apply. I was able to verify the hat my current degree was approved fe the past. I would encourage anyone who may need to explore their requirements further, to fill out the form since there's no commitment. Mondays CSUEB has zoom drop in appointments. I ended up having 1:1 time and email follow up. They are amazing to work with.
  11. I'm curious if anyone signed up to learn more about the concurrent BSN option through CSUEB?
  12. What an exciting day!! Congratulations everyone, I can't wait to meet you all...we did it ?
  13. This is great! I appreciate you sharing. That mean today or tomorrow we will all know WE got in ? ...just putting that out there ?? I'm cheering everyone on!
  14. Oh thank you, I didn't take it since I submitted my score already. Eek, I hope all of us are on the list ? were they able to give you your test results right away or do you have to wait? (You don't have to share your score, I was just curious if you have to wait in that too, double nerves!)
  15. Total score = TEAS score plus phase 1 score. Also, Not everyone sat for the test today because they already took it and submitted the score they had.
  16. 32 but almost the rest get put on the waitlist because not everyone will accept. They will literally take phase 1 + 2 score and objectively rank everyone from top total score to least. Many people apply to multiple schools and have already accepted other schools and/or other schools are their preference. Most people who want to go get to, at least this is what they told me last year
  17. You just select this and it gets directed to the LMC coordinator
  18. I'm all about the good vibes ??. lMC is about 15 minutes from me. I'm married with 3 kids. I work from home and will cut back significantly. I don't know where the clinical date, they change every year and by rotation. But I believe they are at hospitals and clinics so they would not be isolated to Pittsburg, I imagine throughout the East Bay. Where would you be commuting from?
  19. I met (had a facebook DM convo) with someone briefly in a group we are in together. She's in year one. She said classes are Tu/Wed. Clínicals are Th/Fri - this is consistent of what I've seen over the years. what changes - yearly - is the contracts for clinical, so the contracts for this years cohorts could be different for next years, but the days are always the same, and of course there will be some who get day vs night shifts. I've mentally blocked off Tu-Sat (sat in case of night shift and nap after) Sunday for self-care etc and Monday for studying I'm just assuming I'm getting in - based on nothing other than LMC is the only school I applied to and last year I made it to phase 2 but dropped out due to a family obligation but crossing my fingers it works out!
  20. Interesting! I went back a while ago to try and find it and just couldn't find it, not sure if it was deleted. But that's fantastic news of 128 aggregate score! Of course it ultimately comes down to each years unique applicant pool, but a great reference. TY
  21. That's awesome! I appreciate the update, looks they are on track to get notices out by the end of the month - I hope my guess is right and it's the last Tuesday of the month. Last year my notice hit at 5:06 pm FYI ? I think 50 phase 1 score is very competitive based on what I have heard from someone in this years cohort. The goal is just to make it to phase 2 then take or submit your TEAS! ??
  22. Oh that's awesome, I only applied to LMC - I know risky! But I'm starting to figure out which campuses that offer a Spring start in case I don't get in. I live in Brentwood so I can make Stockton work, LMC would be ideal!
