Hi - I have been exploring different ABSN programs and was wondering if someone could tell me how they Loyola's ABSN program. I don't know anyone who has attended there and it is hard to find reviews. I would be interested in doing their hybrid program at the Downers Grove campus. Any insight you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Some where I saw they only have a 25% graduation rate which makes me a little nervous and wondered why this might be.

Any insight you can give me on the program would be greatly appreciated! Good teachers? For clinicals, are they spread throughout the program or towards the second half of the program? Do you arrange your times for clinicals with the clinical supervisor where you get placed? Would love to hear your thoughts on the program! Thanks

Hi - I've been accepted to Loyola's ABSN program for the fall. I am just wondering for those of you who in the ABSN program how you are liking it. Do you like the teachers and are you able to keep up with the work being that it is an accelerated program? Also wondering for those of you who are in the online program approx. how many times a week do you go to the Downers Grove campus? Any information you have on the program would be great to hear! I'm hoping it is the right choice for me and would just love to hear some feedback. Thanks!

Hi - I am applying for ABSN programs. Unfortunately a few years ago I received an owi in WI (I had pot in my system, not alcohol....not that it matters). I have been told it can affect clinical placement and being able to take the NCLEX exam/get nursing license. My plan is to be up front about this when I apply to schools. Is this the direction I should go? I know that most nursing schools require a a background check at some point in the program? I would hate to go through nursing school and put in all the hard work/money, only ending up not being able to get a nursing license b/c of my mistake from the past. Thanks for any advice out there!

Pros and Cons of taking Chem 104 through Portage Learning. I was looking at the facebook page and there is a lot of negative feedback - hard to reach teachers, falsely accussed of cheating etc. Any insight is appreciated! I am also open to other recommendations as to where to take Chemistry 2 online over the Summer. Thanks
