If anyone has received their NHSC LRP $50K funding, can you post what date you received it and how many days it was after your countersignature/contract date? I am still waiting on funding, my countersignature/contract start date was 8/29.

Has anyone who is a participant received a “check in verification request?” I got an email early this morning asking me to log in to complete, and it just asked to confirm my employment site. I’m in HRSA LRP program (got cosignature 8/29).

I received a countersignature on 8/29 and am still showing "accepted award - under final review". I called yesterday and spoke to someone who said if I don't receive an email within 24 hours to call back. When I called back today, I was put on hold for several minutes, then was told I am still under review, not guaranteed an award, and will be notified by September 30th! This is so frustrating.

I am an NP, still waiting - showing as Under Review. I'm starting to lose hope, honestly. I applied for NHSC LRP. DTI 180+%, site score 13, primary care NP.

Have any non-mental health NP's received a COI for either program - Nurse Corps or NHSC? Still trying to hold onto hope here. I am in primary care and the only NP's I have seen post that they have received notice are PMHNP's.

So far I have only seen SUD NP applicants who have received finalist notifications. I'm still showing under review. NP, regular NHSC LRP applicant.

I'm getting so anxious, the wait is killing me. My site is a 13 for HPSA, but I applied for NHSC LRP, so I'm not sure if they take site scores into account. I had a credit check on 3/18, still showing Under Review.

Hi everyone - 2022 NHSC LRP applicant here. First year applying, Peds NP. Had a credit pull on 3/18, application status shows Under Review. Did anyone applying for this program show Under Review then not get awarded? I’m checking every day… hoping that with the earlier application cycle and earlier credit pulls I’ve seen that the ball is rolling quicker than in previous years.

It looks like one person posted up thread that she received a COI for NHSC LRP, so I’m really hoping that means they are moving ahead of schedule and it’s a quicker process. I’m still showing as under review; my credit check was 3/18.

As long as all the contract requirements have been met, I believe you can.

@rebeccam406 take into consideration which program would benefit you more in the long run - I have $200K in loans, NHSC LRP will allow you to renew continuously until you have a zero balance, but I think NCLRP will still leave you with a percentage that you have to pay in the end. I hope they can fix it for you to get you want you need. Now I’ll be checking my email constantly knowing that COI emails have gone out.

The packet says that NHSC has until the end of September to notify people of acceptance. I went back to an old thread where someone was posting updates and put together this timeline from when they applied until awarded (2021): applied 4/8 credit checked 4/27 finalist/COI email received 6/21 cosignature received 7/7 award confirmed 7/13 lump sum direct deposited 9/24 My credit was checked on 3/18 and my status shows “Under Review”, so I hope this means that they are moving quicker this year. It would be nice to have an answer and funds in hand before student loans potentially come out of deferment.

I’m hoping things like this don’t have an impact. I got behind on several credit cards due to the pandemic/reduced work hours and am still catching up.

I hope things move at a faster pace as well! The thought of student loans coming out of deferment in May has me so nervous.

Starting a thread here since I haven’t seen one yet - just noticed a credit pull a few days ago. Application still says under review. I’m an NP, first year applying. Worried about credit - I don’t have anything in default but I did get behind on a few credit cards recently. Hopefully this doesn’t have an adverse effect on my application.
