  1. A bit concern that there are few US trained nurses having difficulty finding jobs there when there are few if not many overseas nurses recently hired to fill vacancies. Is there something missing from the US nurses that the employer turn to overseas trained nurses as a potential.? i do not see any reason to suggest that nurses from overseas are threat but where is the rationale of recruting from overseas when there are so many already waiting to be hired there? Well, i am not US trained but still unlucky because until now i have not fulfilled my american dream. If i can get there with this retrogression still on, then i will be happy and will finally say, yes i did it just the rest of the fortunate ones. I just hope it will be over soon then, you (US trained job hunters) and overseas trained like me will be over the moon.
  2. Hello to All overseas/ international nurses most especially Australian Nurses wanting to nurse in the US. I am also an international nurse, spent my years in the Middle East and here now in the UK. I just recently got my US RN licence but because of retrogression, i stopped dreaming of US as my next landing. I am eyeing to go to Australia and Canada as next stop as it is one of the best place to live, (so I heard). I am just wondering why and what is the real reason do Australian nurses want to leave Australia for US. Is nursing in Australia not as nice than nursing in US? Are nurses in australia not treated properly or not highly regarded as professional? just curious.
  3. Hi Mr Sponsor, it is sad to know how you went through all that kind of stuff. i hope that you have now learned. well in the first place there were some sugesstions that i guessed were useful but hey that is it, a lesson that next time you have to make sure that you yourself will be there. pay the tuition directly to school/university and make arrangements for food allowance plus a little bit extra well planned and researched. i understand how you feel because i was once a sponsor, the only thing is they were my husband's relatives and my own relatives. yes you are right, there are people who become obsessed of feeling rich and tend to show off more than the well to do people who are humble and live frugally as much as they can. i learned my lesson and now they learned their lesson.
  4. Hi blessed 23, I hope you will find Lorma Colleges as an answer. I did mine there but in a classroom, however Lorma is now offering online MAN. I enjoyed my school days there and still recommend Lorma to everyone wanting to further their studies. As you have said you are working overseas, then the online program is suitable for you. It is a good school with excellent reputation. You can visit their website at http://www.lorma.edu.ph or you can google search Lorma colleges La Union and click schools, then go to graduate school. you will find loads of information. Good Luck.
