Has anyone heard about next steps? Like vaccinations and clinical requirements? Cause I haven’t gotten any emails about that stuff yet

They are really taking their sweet *** time this year it seems like. Every week I keep expecting it to be the week we hear back???

Y’all this is torture. There has been no more activity with my video for like a week and a half, I’m sure the decisions are already made. Can’t they just send out results already??? Ugh…

OK I just heard back from them and they said middle to the end of the month. :(( so it may not be so soon as I thought

Still nothing! I feel like it should be soon because last time they heard about 19 days after the interview request and it has been 19 days already so I’m thinking it’s gonna be this week

You should see the application open up for San Marcos ABSN for the fall 2023 and then apply through there. I’m not looking at it right now but it should say the start term and the program I believe. And if not they keep your application for a whole year and you can update your information. Hey Everyone! Just checked myCSUSM and it changed to “admitted” from “completed application” check your myCSUSM!!

Hey! So it’s just like csuf where you have to apply through cal state apply and there will be supplemental questions for the extended learning department. Then you just send official transcripts after your application is submitted. And all of this should be laid out on their website if you want to go and double check. You will upload your TEAS score report on the supplemental portion of the application

I think it’s a really nice thing that they do by sending the evaluation sheet as well! It at least gives you a pretty good idea if you’ll get in or not pretty early. I’m from San Diego as well! I’m kinda leaning towards it for the same reasons though since I work here as well. Not only that but the program seems to be a good one from what I can find online and I know someone who graduated from it and she really liked it. The only drawback is the length but 2 years still isn’t too bad. And it probably makes it a little more flexible to be able to work while attending even though they say we shouldn’t

Thanks for creating this chat! I just got my evaluation emailed to me on Friday July 29th. I had a Prenursing core GPA of 3.88 and a last 60 units GPA of 3.79 and a TEAS score of 93.3% giving me 45 points. I’m really hopeful to get into the program and super anxious just waiting to start nursing school. I applied in the fall to CSUN and CSUF and didn’t get in due to silly mistakes, so hopefully I checked everything twice this time. I wish everyone the best of luck getting into nursing school!

Dang I didn’t get an interview request ? does anyone know if they are considering other applicants outside of those who are received the interview request?

I know last year they got their response end of may about interviews so I’m hoping we will have some communication by the end of this month

I emailed the counselor of the nursing school and received this today.

Hopefully since they closed the apps early they will give their responses earlier too!

Hey y’all I also applied for the program and wanted to follow this thread. I had a 3.5 undergrad and 3.8 pre reqs. And a year experience as a CNA. I really just wanted to get into an ABSN program to just finish the degree asap. Hoping for the best for all of us!

I’m new to CSUF, The only place I knew to check was the student portal which they said to keep checking. But then nothing important came through there. They just told us after the fact that things were needed after it was too late.

Yeah they emailed me saying that I didn’t have either a transcript or ap score or whatever sent in, but I’m positive everything was sent way before the deadline so I’m trying to contact them and check cause it’s ludicrous. I’ve been checking the portal everyday just to make sure I had everything checked off
