  1. hi everyone I was waitlisted this year and was wondering if anyone got off your waitlist for FNP and how many people. Thank you!
  2. Thank you. I am pretty far down on the list so not holding my breath but I guess you never know! congrats again to everyone who got in!
  3. Congratulations to everyone that got in!! Does anyone know if there is movement off the waitlist? I am number 16 on the waitlist. Seems pretty far down. Thank you!
  4. I wrote it's my personal opinion. I wish you the best and sent this to leadership so they know this response was posted. Accusing me of being "nasty" is inappropriate given I simply stated that if you have not experienced the program do not say its bad. Accusing the first cohort of letting things go is not OK, we did a lot of advocating and went through a lot. We are tired, and trying our best.
  5. Hi, im a second-semester student in the first cohort. My personal opinion is that the program is fine. It's hard, like nursing school is supposed to be. I find this above review inaccurate or unfair especially if you haven't experienced the program. Nursing schools, in general, are hard and a mess and I don't think our experience is unique based on the experiences of other friends in similar programs. The Tacoma BSN program has the same issues, and it's more of a systemic problem with nursing schools not being able to find teachers and proper clinical and ensure students have the support they need. If you got in congrats! and prepare to work hard don't complain or talk badly if you haven't even experienced the program yet. Thanks!
  6. Hi all wondering if anyone else has gotten into the program! reach out we would love to get connected
  7. I just got my acceptance!
  8. Totally! I have two kiddos and edging 40 so I want to start soon as well. I think Su's waitlist is done the program started on Tuesday. Hope to meet you and thank you for insight. I don't feel as alone in this path now!
  9. They were SUPER nice and really great. It was refreshing given that most experiences of applying to nursing school haven't been great. Congratulations! Did they say anything about when the cohort will start? I also saw you applied to SU! im wondering if its worth it to wait another year and apply to SU again if my end goal is a DNP. But then if you get the ABSN there are options for DNP and you aren't tied to one school!
  10. I applied, waiting to hear back.
  11. has anyone received an acceptance for Fall 2022?
  12. you may have gotten in did you check your portal?
  13. From what I have heard through the grapevine in Seattle, and given the questions in the interview, the clinical placements across the entire program have not been great. I won't get into why, because I don't fully understand why either but its been a consistent problem. For those looking for housing, around SU, the neighborhoods are first hill and capitol hill. Apartments are really pricey and continuing to rise in Seattle. A two bedroom is minimum $2500. I would look in south Seattle and see if there is a bus route that goes to campus. Hope this is helpful. You can DM me also if you want more information, Good luck!
  14. nope I have not heard anything. It is a little frustrating to have it all so staggered.
