  1. Yes they do. The are both Bachelors Degrees in Nursing. I have a BAN. The difference is the elective courses. The nursing curriculum and science courses are the same. My college focused on psycho -social aspects of nursing as well as science aspects. Electives can be in sociology, psychology, etc. I have held several management positions in nursing such as nursing administrator, outpatient management, as well as supervisory positions. I hope this answers your question. Probably too late for your decision. When being interviewed I’ve only been asked twice what the difference was. I gave the same answer as above. BAN’s are more common in the Midwest colleges.
