  1. @shaneybaby, I'm so sorry for the late response. I've finally decided to apply at NMHU just a month ago. They requested for all my transcripts to be transferred. That's taking a little bit of time, but the admission counselor I have been speaking to has been very helpful. Her name is Erica. NMHU is fully online and from what I've heard low costs compare to other schools, accredited and workload is manageable. $325 per credit and only have to take 11 classes I believe. It equals to around 10k for the BSN program to finish, which is soo much cheaper compare to other schools. I thought about applying at UWT, but too expensive for me and you still have to attend once a week. GCU is fully online as well, but there's bunch of elective classes you have to take. I'm in Tacoma, btw. Where are you located?
  2. @MRSANurse-a thank you so much for your input. @RaiRN that's great to hear. And you're almost done, yayyyy. Btw, I called the school on Monday just to inquire more about the program. It sounds doable, I hope LOL. If you don't mind me asking. How's the tests/exams? Like, NCLEX stye?? Open books, proctored, etc?? Are the exams timed? Gosh, I hate taking tests LOL. Also, are the essays pretty manageable if you work full time along with other assignments, required reading, exams, etc you have to do? Plus, I have two kids LOL. I only plan on taking two classes like you. Not sure if I can manage more than that. Been a while since I was in school. Just the thought of it makes me feel overwhelm already haha. Thank you so much for all your feedback. Happy holidays.
  3. @MRSANurse-a and @RaiRN sorry for jumping into your conversation. I am hoping to get my BSN this upcoming year, but haven’t decided which online school I should go to. I am looking for low cost, accredited, 100% fully online school. A mother of two and also will be working atvyeh same time. How’s your experience with NMHU? Are there exams each week?? Also, looking for a school where I can manage all the things I have to do including being a mom, full time nurse, etc.
  4. Hello everyone! My name is Anna, I have two kids (one who just turned 3) and I'm currently an active RN in WA state. I graduated in 2016 with my ADN and hoping to get my BSN this upcoming year. I am looking for 100% fully online school, accredited and cost effective. I will have to work at the same time, because bills ya know ?, so schoolwork has to be doable or manageable for this mama. No exams or less is better as I won't have a lot of time to study. Any recommendations anyone? Thank y'all in advance!
