  1. Hi I love the program so far! If you have any specific questions you can email me at [email protected] :).
  2. Hey Guys ! I just made a group for accepted students! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1186444395452870/
  3. I just got my scholarship and let's just say I'm def going to MGHIP! I'd love to make a FB group!
  4. Yes ...mine said I got a scholarship and that I will be sent the offer in the next coupe of business days!
  5. I'm in for FNP! Congratulations everyone!
  6. Thank you! And I just emailed again because I’m getting impatient ? and they said that the decisions are taking longer due to unforeseen circumstances, but decisions will be out tomorrow or Wednesday. I’d take that with a grain of salt, but that’s what they said anyway LOL
  7. Right! And yes I got accepted into Simmons abt a week or two ago, but this is my first choice. I just wanna know already LOL.
  8. I emailed them yesterday and they said the end of the first week of feb! Hey! Yeah same thing happened to me. They told me those two deadlines. I haven’t heard anything and I applied for FNP for the Dec 1 deadline. I wonder what’s taking so long.
  9. Hey! Congratulations! So the main things I got were -you get an RN (not BSN) halfway and then MSN at the end, but she said their students usually don’t have a problem finding part time work with the RN especially during the pandemic -very high pass rates (99% 5 yrs in a row then down to 97% one year), they’re students do well and hospitals love their students -not a lot of time off in between semesters…basically classes all year round except for Winter break - you can take pathopysiology this Summer before the program starts. They recommend it because it takes a course off of your fall semester load, but it’s doable in the fall if you can’t take it in the Summer. The faculty holding the sessions were all really nice and seem to really care about the students. Those are the main things I can think of, but maybe others can fill in any gaps :).
  10. haha I just dm'd and requested you!
  11. Hey Whats your IG ? I'll DM you
  12. I emailed them yesterday and they said the end of the first week of feb!
  13. Thank you! Do you have instagram or facebook? I'd love to chat about it as well. I went to the info session too and they were so welcoming. I'm surprised we got to speak to them in such a small group! I am also waiting for a response from one more school.
  14. Thank you! I went to the info session & I got to speak to the staff. Is there anything in particular that you wanted to know?
  15. Just got my acceptance :)!
  16. Hey Leah! Thank you so much for coming on here. I just emailed you!
  17. Oh nice! I hope I hear some good news soon! ?? I’ll be attending the info session too. I have a lot of questions!
  18. Ahhhh congratulations! Was it an email or mail?
  19. I’m hoping by mid January, but it from old threads I saw by February 1st! I’m so anxious about it. I applied to the FNP specialty, hby? Good luck! Hey! Most of the info I received was from the site, deep digging online and attending the info sessions before applying. I did have a chance to talk to a student who did the ABSN program and she loved it. She said she felt very prepared as a nurse and heard good things from students that finished the NP Program. She mentioned that the staff and community were very supportive, and her clinicals were at MGH and she really enjoyed them. So I guess I’d try to get in touch with admissions or find a former student that can give you an idea of what the school is like.
  20. Nice, Thanks for the update! Good Luck! What specialty did you apply to?
  21. Thank you for clarifying! Did they mention anything about finding placement? That seems to be another issue.
  22. Yes exactly! I applied, but I’m not interested in attending Simmons because of the same reason. That doesn’t seem right.
  23. I’m hoping by mid January, but it from old threads I saw by February 1st! I’m so anxious about it. I applied to the FNP specialty, hby? Good luck!
  24. Hey everyone! I saw that no one started a thread for MGH's direct entry program so I figured I would. I applied for the early deadline and was wondering if anyone else did as well. I'd love to connect with you all on here :).
