  1. Got my acceptance this morning too! MCC/ASU, afternoon cohort! Anybody else in that group? The acceptance email I got from Mesa was hilariously stern, LOL.
  2. I don’t know if things have changed since this comment was made, but I just checked the Littman site and engraving does not void the warranty. Just wanted to clear that up for others (like myself) who might be reading this thread years after it was started. https://www.Littman.in/3M/en_IN/Littman-stethoscopes-in/my-stethoscope/faq/
  3. Of course! We're all in this together!
  4. The email I received had a link at the bottom that took me straight to my application so I could edit it. That's the only way I even knew how to get to it. I would wait to hear back from your advisor, as you still have a couple of weeks before your application has to be complete. If it's getting too close to the cut off I would maybe try another advisor. I know Tuesdee at Mesa is really responsive.
  5. Hmm, I don't know why neither of you got the email, but I don't want to cause you any problems so I would recommend talking to your advisors before changing anything on your applications. I've copied the entire email below as an image so you can check it out. As you can see, my email had a direct link to my application at the very bottom so I could edit it. Also, I don't know if it affected anything, but I went to multiple colleges and had to upload my transcripts from the other (out-of-state) schools. Maybe you only have to upload mccd transcripts if you are also uploading other transcripts? Good luck!
  6. Just wanted make sure you all saw the email that went out this afternoon saying there was a mistake on the new CEP form and we do have to include our MCCD transcripts as well if we want our application to be considered. I’ve put a snippet of the email below (highlight added by me). The email also included detailed instructions and a link to update the application. Good luck everybody!
  7. Hi, thanks for letting us know what your advisor said; I appreciate it. I guess I’ll go ahead and submit my application now then. Fingers crossed! ?
  8. So, as promised in my earlier comment, here are my scores and info: I am applying at ASU with Mesa as my first choice CC, but I did choose four other CCs just in case (I'm willing to go to any that are a reasonable drive from my house). GPA (unofficially calculated by ASU): 3.83 HESI Math: 96% HESI English: 97.33% Previous Bachelor's degree = 91.77 points (or 92 if it gets rounded)
  9. Has anyone else run into this issue/question: The instructions on the CEP info page say: "Review the online information PowerPoint. Once the information has been thoroughly reviewed, students are required to download and sign a Declaration of Receipt of Information form indicating the online session has been reviewed. The Declaration form must be attached to the CEP application." But the only spot to attach documents to the CEP application is in the sections specifically asking for HESI scores and Transcripts. Where are we supposed to attach our Declaration form?
  10. Thanks for your help. I ended up deciding on ASU (for various reasons) and I'm just about ready to submit my CEP application. I'll post separately with my scores and info in case others are interested.
  11. Hi Everyone! I moved to AZ just last year from Oregon (just when I was ready to apply to a nursing program there and would have most likely gotten in because I had tailored all my prerequisites and volunteering to that program, LOL). I’ve spent the last year retaking a class and sorting out my school details (transferring from quarter schools to semester schools is a headache) and now I’m getting ready to apply to the CEP (I’m currently taking an accelerated pathophysiology class that is supposed to finish January 29 so hopefully it will be on my transcript in time to use on my application—if not, do any of you know if I can apply with the class finished but not yet on my transcript?). Here’s my question: what university should I apply to? Any opinions? I don’t particularly want GCU, but I am still considering all of the others. I live in Tempe so I thought it might be nice to be an ASU student (I know the classes are mostly online, but at least I’d have access to the library and other student resources near me, right?), but otherwise I don’t really have an opinion. I’ve read the brochures but I’m not really seeing anything that is swaying me one way or another (I wish we could just apply to multiple). Is it true that it’s really the community colleges who decide if you’re in? My advisor didn’t say anything about that. I’m happy to tell you more about myself if it would help; I just don’t know which uni would be a good fit.
