Hello, Does anyone know if the Fundamentals of nursing book 10th edition needs to have an online access code?

Honestly not sure but you should just wait since the deadline for that is not until Dec. I'm sure when we go in for Orientation they should let you know more.

Oh nice! We will start together then. I actually called the bookstore regarding the badge, and was told that once you check out you click "special instructions" and input name and "1st year nursing student". Just in case you are still trying to purchase yours.

Oh, thats good to know! I'm going to get that started this weekend. Are you starting for Fall or Spring? I registered for DOVE uniforms but it did not have my term of Spring 2024 so I just put Fall 2023 for now.

Does anyone get the part of ordering our badge? Do we need to put our name, RN, and "1st year nursing student"? I also tried going to order from bookstore and did not find the comment section either.

Hi Michelle, I was accepted for Spring 2024 as well. I've submitted my acceptance form. Did you receive a respond back confirming they got your acceptance? All I received was an automatic response about them no longer accepting applications for Option A.

Hello, my friend and I received our acceptance letter today too. She'll be starting this Fall 2023 and I got accepted for Spring 2024. Now I have to take my TEAS test by 04/25/23 ? any tips from anyone?

It happened to a few other people as well, but by then they had already done the lottery so it was too late. We will see this time around though.

Yea, I did. My friend had received the email stating she was moving to the second phase and then received her denial. I waited and still nothing, I emailed M, Smith the coordinator and he said the system had a glitch. Then S, Sexton sent an email stating many applicants had been emailing her about the situation and the system had a glitch but it's considered a denial and to apply again next cycle. Hoping this does not happen to me again! ?

Same! I was selected as an alternate my first time applying. Then, on my second and third time applying I did not receive a denial email and was told "the system had a glitch to try applying again next application cycle".

Are you applying to LBCC as well? They go based on only GPA. They go based on both overall GPA and science( Anat, Physio, and Micro) GPA.

Thank you!? I actually have the Mometrix book V6 my friend gave me since she said not much changed. I've been asking about Smart edition but no one I know has heard about it LOL. Glad to hear feedback from someone not on their website. I need all the practice tests I can get.

@meangreen: No you do not need TEAS before but you get more points for it. I have not taken the TEAS therefore, my points are low at 38.
