Coming from Oakley so not too bad. I'm an MA I work in a private practice and at Kaiser. Yes, we are coming in with pre reqs completed. How's it going so far? How is the class and teachers?

Jan 3 an assignment due (basic signature stuff) and Jan 9 is orientation. Nothing in December. Where are you commuting from? How old are you? Any health care exp?

There is another thread on here where it discusses how gurnick isn’t wasc accredited therefore you won’t be able to to use your undergraduate degree to apply to a school like SMUs NP Program. They won’t accept the credits. I asked Vang, she said she knows a school in Texas that takes the degree. The MSN program isn’t an NP granting degree. Also I think the reason they offer this now is because of the reason stated above. Will be interesting to find out.

I’m going in the Spring also. My interview is tomorrow. I work at Kaiser and this is a widely spread rumor, same for unitek.

Hello, does anyone have any information on post graduation from gurnick with the BSN/RN degree? In particular getting hired in hospitals like Kaiser? Also graduate level education? I’m hearing due to accreditation you can’t apply for an NP Program??

Thank you! This was the information I needed. I work full time but may take a small break so I can focus on these. The class is more pricey then other locations but it’s also faster which I’m looking for.

Hi, is anyone taking the pre reqs pharmacology and pathophysiology? I’m wondering how intense these classes are and can they be taken at the same time? I’m also wondering if you could have a full-time job while taking these classes at SMU online?
