Something similar happened to me with BUMC. I was told there were no more spots for women’s services and I would be placed on the “overflow lottery.” To me that sounds like if they don’t pick any of the applicants who managed to get an interview for the position, they would randomly pick people from the overflow lottery to interview. So I’m waiting it out.

I heard from the recruiter from BUMC on Friday and we went through a phone screening. My top choice was OB and she told me that there were no more interview spots :(. She schedule me an interview for Baylor Grapevine L&D tomorrow. (I'm an external applicant)

I had a second interview for L&D and I was told on Thursday that I should be hearing from the recruiter soon, but I have yet to receive an email/call.

Arlington for L&D and Postpartum

I had an interview for L&D yesterday and a follow up interview today. I also had a postpartum interview yesterday and they said a recruiter will be in touch with me soon.

Yes this happened to me for MC Dallas. I think I am going to reach out to the recruiter.

I put women's services as my first choice and psych as my second. I have not heard from a recruiter about women's services, but I got an email today to schedule an interview for the psyc department today.
