I asked after my interview and they said they don't b/c the unit directors would know when but I do know that they said HR will be the ones reaching out.

I'm interviewing tomorrow morning with the critical care track! Is anyone bringing their portfolio? The last time I interviewed they said they had my resume but I don't know if I should bring it just to be prepared.

my resume is exactly 2 pages and I put both clinical rotations and work.. plus volunteering, skills, certifications!

Prior to and during nursing school I worked in-home as caregiver and I also did lots of volunteering in the community!

I got an interview for greater sf for this cohort but got rejected last cohort! I have never done any clinicals or volunteering/working at kaiser but have over 2 years of in-home healthcare experience. Graduated from sac state, currently have my RN license and have BLS, ACLS, PALS and the ekg course. I'm assuming maybeee I got an interview this time instead of last time b/c I only had my ATT last time.. I feel like that's a big deciding factor! Keep applying everywhere and keep getting experience and volunteering and eventually we will all end up with jobs whereever we're meant to end up! ❤️ Good luck ?

Mine was a panel interview with the 6 PICU panelists and three other applicants. They started by asking each of us to tell them about ourselves. Then, each of us was given different questions within 4 categories (family-centered care, QI/EBP, leadership, and teamwork). I don't remember any exact questions but those were the categories and we were given 2min. to answer each.

I'm currently fixing up my cover letter, and hoping to submit tomorrow! I applied and interviewed for the Spring 2024 cohort so hopefully second time's a charm LOL.. Applying for PICU and PCU 300, good luck everyone! <3

Has anyone registered for transfer orientation because I'm not sure if I have to change my major from Health Sciences to Nursing when I register?

Yeah, even if I don't get into the program, I'm planning on going to Sac State anyways but if your plan B is another university then probably wait until after decisions for the nursing school go out but IDK. I haven't planned that far ahead yet bc I've been so panicked about getting into the program at all haha

Hi! I got my acceptance letter from the school and I did my intent to enroll. I assume that if we get into the program, the major would just automatically change from Health Sciences to Nursing. And I wanted to do the intent to enroll portion ahead of time because I didn't want to worry about forgetting LOL
