  1. No, I’m actually in the program right now! It started Monday. Im in the Pleasantville location though- I believe you will be in nyc.
  2. Denial letters are out? good luck to all of those accepted. I’m glad I’m in the ABSN at pace. For those of you who didn’t get in, this is an 11month program to consider?
  3. Honestly I hope they send denial letters too. I don’t want them to not send anything and leave those who haven’t been accepted hanging on to false hope.
  4. In total it’s about 69k not including books and supplies.
  5. Hi! I'm not sure what I can offer but feel free to private message me through here (just go to my profile and click the little envelope at the top). If you decide to go to Pace you should definitely get started on ordering your items and CastleBranch. I can walk you through that.
  6. I'm not sure about that group- I'm pretty sure it isn't specific to Pace anyway
  7. Hey! The admin said you've been accepted. Check again!?
  8. No problem! Also if you want a school with a REALLY holistic review process, try the Hopkins MSN entry program. It’s 21 months and ~130k.
  9. Try Stony Brook- probably even more competitive given the price. Also, Pace has a really good 12-month program ~69k.
  10. Guess it was rejection day LOL
  11. I got rejected as well. I don't mind given I have other acceptances but I am annoyed they let us know so late. I got accepted into Johns Hopkins 3 months ago. This school was my mom's alma mater but after hearing what others had to say about it, I am fine with the decision and will be attending Pace ABSN.
  12. Hey! I'm sorry- I meant were you accepted into the FB group? If you haven't been, I can reach out to the moderator and let her know what your profile looks like or your name or something if you'd like.
  13. Hey! Were you accepted?
  14. Me too!? Good luck you guys!
  15. I actually appreciate the insight that this person has given us. I think it's good to have someone who has experienced the program give their take on what it was like. I also think it's important to know the good/bad of each program before going into it.
  16. I'm hoping. At this point, I just want to know. The program is just a little over a few weeks away.?
  17. No problem. I used two professors (one that I did research with and another that I really connected with during my last semester of undergrad) and then I used my "manager" that I reported to when I volunteered at a Covid site. Also, you can look for your advisor on the pace website- if you ant find it I would call them and ask to speak to someone. I definitely recommend connecting with an admissions person- I feel like it helped me in the admissions process. There was a positive correlation between the schools I was accepted to and how much time I spent trying to connect with them.
  18. Yep, I did. IDK, I wish there was more clarity. Even trying to call them and get in touch is a hassle.
  19. I would also recommend (if you had lower grades or something you want to explain but cant in the personal statement) that you submit a file titled "Addendum" along with the personal statement. (Upload two separate files).
  20. Hi! I submitted a pretty short essay. It was about 610 words (2 pages double spaced). Also, I submitted 3 LORs- 2 through the application, and for the third, I had the recommender email it to the admissions office directly. Lmk if you have any other questions!
  21. Yep, kind of pissed off. I had emailed them a few weeks ago regarding my application (I did not get an interview but others had) and they told me that my application was still under review. I just want to know. I hate how ambiguous they have been.
  22. Hi, I have no experience with this whatsoever but you may want to try posting in the older Hopkins MSN groups. They might be better able to assist.
  23. I hope but don't believe so. Last year there was just one wave of interview emails.
  24. For all of you (whether you received an interview or not) did anything change or update on your portal?
