Oh wow but one of my applications still says 'received submission'. Does anyone who applied for 'Vineyard - 3rd DOU' say the same thing?

Did anyone else apply to the ICU/CCU New Grad RN position at PIH Health Downey? Did anyone get a call to interview about that?

I drove back and ask questions because it did not sit well with me what happened. I talked to a nurse named Lauren and she confirmed the September cohort is closed. She explained that the new grads who came today and dropped off a resume will be put on list to be texted an application link in maybe January to hopefully start in March of next year if selected. She did explain that it is a bit of a long process for new grads to get hired.

I was told the same that the spots have been filled and the next cohort will be January. I'm pissed because the announcement for the hiring fair clearly said RN New Grads as well. I don't know I feel so bad because I posted it on here thinking this is an opportunity for us all to get our foot in the door and it just turned out to be wasted gas and time.

Med-surg 4th floor and 2nd DOU West is 'reviewed; not selected'. Vineyard - 3rd DOU still says "Recieved Submission" for now.

All mine says "Reviewed: not selected" save for Vineyard - 3rd DOU, did anyone apply to that one? Does it say the same for you or "Sent to Manager"?

Just got the rejection email for Whittier now! Yayyyyyyyy.......:|

They immediately tell you, you were rejected in the subject line, ex: "Sorry you were not selected...". But that's not the worse part, the body of the letter is written in a disingenuous way. They do the whole "we'll keep your application on file." "check our job portal for more opportunities". That's not true. There are no opportunities, they will not keep your application on file that's a a known lie. So yeah they are full of caca ?

I just got my rejection letter, I've gotten so many rejections but PIH Health always has the best ones LOL. The worst I think are Cedar Sinai, I don't know why but the way they do it pisses me off ?

Oh my goodness, I just applied Hahahaha! I need to tighten up my job search because I swear I feel like I'm driving in a fog through this whole finding a job process! Also why would they still have the application open?! I don't understand that...

Yes it does! It doesn't give a specific time though, whenever I've been to hiring fairs they give you an interview slot, but this seems like a first come, first serve type scenario. So prepare to wait!

Sad news! HUCLA just canceled my interview. They said that all LA County DHS hospitals are now in a hiring freeze. Did others get an email?

I have no idea it didn't say. I did select Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Care, and ICU as my first, second, and third choice. It's either of those, I'll find out the day of I guess!

I just got an invite to interview for next Thursday! How did everyone respond? It doesn't really prompt you, it just tells you. Edit: Nevermind I calmed down and just sent a confirmation email LOL

Sorry I didn't see your comment! I only asked when we should be hearing back, which would be in a week. Did you ask how many spots they are filling?

It went well! So it was a group of us but not a group interview. Everyone was really nice, each candidate was interviewed by a panel of three nurse leaders (nurse supervisor, nurse manager, and nurse educator). They had their own rubric, and asked no clinical questions. But the behavioral had clinical aspects if that makes sense. They had a few complex questions that I can't really remember they were multi-layered. I think that covers it without revealing too much! Good Luck to everyone interviewing tomorrow!

I'm sorry for making you nervous! The reason I was lead to believe that is because when I received the invite email it said on some available time slots "1 spot open". But they don't mention anything else, only that its a panel interview. We'll see what happens!

Has anyone gotten an invite to interview for the 22 and 24? Also has anyone done an interview for Progressive Care or ICU? I haven't heard anything so I'm managing expectations.
